Hector sat with his back flat against the truck of a tree, sound asleep. He was enjoying the view of the TIDE island, especially at night with the liquid rays of cosmic entities gleeming off the ripples of the water, emanating a serene silvery glow into the sky. Most humbling was the site, yet so tranquil was the sight that he fell into a deep sleep on one of Tide's few islands.
Though he was fast asleep, the energies within his body were vastly at work in and around him. He had trained himself, at least when he slept alone, to keep his energies on full alert should he be under attack without being able to detect so with his somasensory, or auditory senses, which were already quite heatened.
Light blue whisps of energy traveled around his body and into the air, dancing ephermally with the strands of white energies that seemed to taunt them. They would emit from the entire surface of his body in random intervals, and discipate after a second of courtship with the opposing energies. Quite an awkward site for someone not keen to way his energies worked.
