Looks up at the magic poll and sighs... "Why do I attract such people?" Turns back to her customers with a painted smile. "Not that I mean anything about you lot, of course."

"Well, I must be going shortly..thanks again Sofia"

"Come by any time Hanamori, and bring Varian when you do. He's bound to catch some attention around here."

"Yes, it's sad to see people act with such callous disregard.."
-takes a sip of her Sprite sighing afterward-
"Oh yes, and your very much welcome"

he said.

"itll do me and me cold good, i hope."

he sniffs a little

Smiles at Hamori and starts rummaging under the counter for something. "Darren? Where did you put the..." Darren tapps his tiny boss' shoulder and grabs a box from the top shelf behind her. "I'll handle it, Mistress." He walks over to junk.exe and offers him a vial smelling of lemon honey. "This is a cold remedy we make. Would you like some?"

"thank you kindly, sir. ill be fine with the tea. might want to save it for somebody who might need it."

he smiles his friendly smile again and nods his head in apology.

junk looks about the tavern and finally stops his eyes on Sofia. he smils his gentle smile again.

"im sorry, Sofia was it? it seems ive been out in the mountains too long. terribly sorry. my name's Christopher. im a mechanic rejected from a metropolis on the other side of the mountains for...malacious activities..."

he stops and ponders for a bit and continues on.

"you seem to be a woman of higher class than that of myself."

he bows his head deeply.

-nods a little smiling-
"Yes, of course, I'll see you again shortly, until then goodbye"
-stands up and heads to door waving back before leaving out into the night-

Darren seems a little put out for a moment and then puts the vial back in the box with the others. "Whatever you say, sir."

junk looks about the tavern and finally stops his eyes on Sofia. he smils his gentle smile again.

"im sorry, Sofia was it? it seems ive been out in the mountains too long. terribly sorry. my name's Christopher. im a mechanic rejected from a metropolis on the other side of the mountains for...malacious activities..."

"I don't know about class, but as a wizard I had to attend many years of rigerous training before I could join the ranks of the Arcane Archers. Lots of days spent surrounded by books, but there was a fair amount of adventuring as well." She smiles and hovers a little higher. "I went all over rooting out goblins and the like before I realised I could turn a profit by setting up an outpost in the right place. I built this tavern and the town built itself around me."

Lots of days spent surrounded by books, but there was a fair amount of adventuring as well." She smiles and hovers a little higher. "I went all over rooting out goblins and the like before I realised I could turn a profit by setting up an outpost in the right place. I built this tavern and the town built itself around me."

"well, as it seems youve been quite successful here. im glad."

his smile fades a little as his mind starts to wonder a bit.

"seeing as i have no place to call home, or a job...would it be mutch trouble if i open up a mechanic shop in the town? i mean, you pretty mutch started this whole place so it would only seem fair i ask your permission."

Looked around the room, taking in her surroundings with a sense of relief that she was finally free, yet how long would it last? She briefly glanced at Darren and then waved Sofia over when she noticed him busy.

"well, as it seems youve been quite successful here. im glad."

his smile fades a little as his mind starts to wonder a bit.

"seeing as i have no place to call home, or a job...would it be mutch trouble if i open up a mechanic shop in the town? i mean, you pretty mutch started this whole place so it would only seem fair i ask your permission."

Sofia laughs. "I'm no politician, and the mayor would take some offence, I'm sure, but I do have a back room just through that door." Sofia points at a large door on the side of the room. A screen covers a section of wall nearby. "That screen lifts to show a second counter. I had originaly run a general store, but when Thomas' opened up across the way I decided to get out of the equiptment buisiness. I have been using it as storage."

"ah well then, are you proposing that i set up shop here?"

he goes and looks about the storage room, not sure what to think.

"and where will all these things go...?"

"You could set up shop in there, if you'd like. Most adventurers I know ride horses or use dog teams, but those new machienes... the ones that runover the snow... a few of the more welthy merchants are using them these days. They break down more often then they make it through the pass."

"Don't worry about the stuff, I've got plenty of room upstairs for that lot. It's mostly things that I haven't seen or needed in over a year - that's when Thomas' General Store opened. He uses my men to carrry his goods through the pass, so I still make money off the supplies, though not what I used to I'll tell you that."
