"As you wish." He only allowed his head to nod gently. The soldier carried Artemis over to an unoccupied couch so that he could set her down, gently. Gently was a strange method for the male that had been through so much, through a life of military and every precious thing stripped away from his life.

How could he allow that woman to enter his mind if it only would bring tears to his eyes? The thoughts of how he lost the only one that ever cared for him the same that he felt for her. His head shook away those thoughts, not wanting to shed anymore tears upon that cause. It happened so long ago...
The lord looked down at the maiden before his striking blue eyes. "Sleep," he commanded her with the softest of tones his itchy voice could allow it to go. All he wanted was for this maiden to feel not so much pain. No one deserves that much pain.

Artemis closed her eyes slowly, trying to stop her mind's frantic thoughts of pain. She fell into a rough sleep as her breathing evened.

Griff shook as he tryed to collect himself, sitting on the same spot they had been fighting, hair on end. It was then he noticed the sratchs. Many were on his back, no doubtly a loose nail scratching him. Many also were etched into his arms and midsection. He sighed sadly, licking his wounds, trying to figure why she did such a thing.
