She flapped her wings as well, flying up to the same height as David. A wicked smile showed on her face, "The ground is not where we shall do battle little angel, we shall take it to the skies! I shall defeat you with the power of Lucifer on my side! Your Lord can't save you now! Light will never prevail over darkness! So come one, come get me!"
*gos out and saw her wings in shock runs *
-realizes Miss Black left with his gun- Great. -scratches his head and walks away from the situation. too much was going on for him to take in. he was just about strangers to all these people- ...and I thought I was bad.
Yuna flew back down from the sky, seeing as how the angel had disappeared. "Damn him, we must do our battle another time then," she said under her breath. As she touched the ground, folding her black wngs to her sides, she saw Ki, laying in the grass near the lake. She darted to her, worried about Ki. Once she finally reached her, she slid her hand over Ki's body, healing her of any wounds, hopeing to wake her up. She then said to her, her voice sounding worried, "Ki! Ki can you hear me? Are you alright Ki?"
Artemis continued to shake. She took several deep breaths to stop her tears.

"David, what's going to happen?" Artemis whispered into the oncoming night, "What's going to happen to us?" She fell to her knees, feeling weak and used. Her shaking continued as sobs racked her frail body.
In the mists of being unconscience from all of the tormoil surrounding her, she held a dream.

The plane held no water, no grass, only cracks into the dry dirt. The surrondings had not seen water in years where something major must have unfolded. A long thin crack traviled jaggedly towards a hole in the surface. An abyss of nothing that held great depths in the darkness. Creatures hide and waited for prey to come but from the edge, none could see them linger in their own lust of hunger and blood.
A tall and slender man stood at the edge of an abyss staring into the darkness and deepths of it, pondering. His lips moved but no sound came forth from them before...
Yuna continued to heal Ki, hopeing that soon she should awaken. She then had an idea, on that she hadn't had in a long while. She touched Ki's forehead, linking both of their minds together. She was now in Ki's mind, seeing what she saw. Her eyes widened with surprise, seeing such barren land everywhere, no water or any sort of life. She gulped, walking around yelling, "Ki! Where are you Ki?! If you can hear me, say something!" Outside of what was happening, Yuna still sat there, holding her hand on Ki's forehead.
She felt the warmth of another that dared to touch her in the vulnerable state of hers against her ice cold skin. Eyelids snapped back as irises swivled back into place.
"Leave me be," she sneered under her breath while looking up at Yuna with grave angered eyes. Not wanting to see anyone, be near anyone other than manybe one or two people, she smacked Yuna's hand away from her forehead with the snap of that from a true fighter.
"Never touch me again," she said with unchanged anger, pulling herself away to a full stand in which beginning her persuit of getting away completely.
Artemis curled up in a fetal position and fell asleep on the ground.
*still hiding trying to think what is going on*
She quickly vaulted back, seeing that Ki was very angered for a reason she didn't know. She stood up, saying to her, kindness in her voice, "I am sorry Ki, I didn't mean to anger you in any way. If you wish to be alone, so be it. But, remember this, if you continue to act this way you'll only push people away, and you'll be all alone. I'll be leaving now, so just heed my warning Ki. Until next time, I bid you farewell." She unfolded her wings, turning her back on Ki. A small black feather dropped from her wing, it had shaken loose and was slowly making it's way to the ground. Once it touched the ground, Yuna had vanished without a trace, nothing but a small feather lay where she had once stood.
"Don't give me your pity, woman!"
Ki could have cared less about what Yuna had to say to her anymore. Why be kind to one person and none other? Or on the contrary, why be nice at all? Her mood could not nor would it allow her to be nice anymore with these feelings. Feelings of being used. Feelings of being hurt.
"So, he only wants me for physical reasons anymore? He can't come just to talk to me," her voice broke down into that of hurt and pain, like the pain in her arm which was persistant to not go away.
"I deserve to be alone," the young girl reminded herself over and over of what the angels in Heaven told her. They spoke to a five-year-old with hate in their voice and said, "Thee deserves to never have love nor friends. Thee shall always be alone." The words stung into her mind with a greater amoung of anger than anything else. "Don't I at least deserve my family?"
The young maiden walked about aimlessly, feeling faint, as more thoughts entered her mind. "Father," the girl cried out for her adopted parent, needing him now, needing his warm embrace that could take away her greatest fears. She needed love to lead her out of the light. Love that she felt she had lost.
Staci ran all the way to a temple, and jogged inside, her eyes still as black as night.
A teenage boy faded into a room in the tavern. The room was dimly lit and held a large bed, a dressor, a mirror and two doors. His dark eyes looked the room about before he sat down on the edge of the bed, sighing softly.
A small figure could be seen outside. The figure appeared to have been possibly drunk. But, lo and behold the figure was of a small girl whom was not drunk. In fact, she was injuried. The skirt that she wore was ripped and revealed a medium sized gash on her leg around her knee. She also had a few cuts and scratches on her face. She was in shock, and when she was in shock she either hallucinated or did not know where she was. At that moment she only did not know where she was. She made her way towards the tavern, the remaining sane part of her mind was praying it was a safe place. She entered and simply stood there. It seemed familiar. The numbness in her leg was wearing off, only to be replaced by pain.
The teenager blinked some, coming from his trance of thought. He stood up and opened the window. His wings quickly clung tight to him as he jumped through the window, then they snapped out, getting wind beneath them he flew upwards. He was a fast flyer, so it didnt take long for his dark eyes to find what he was looking for. His wings stopped flapping and he fell into a tree, landing on a branch. His wings folded slowly as he looked at Ki, his bangs falling over his left eye. "Hello..." He said quitley, his eyes studieng her.
