"Are you serious. Do you really not want to fight me? I thought Gaians lived for the fight.", he stopped his own assault so that she would stop retreating. Tres did not want to fight an opponent who was unwilling, it was not in his personal beliefs to do so. He would for the moment bounce rhythmically on the balls of his feet in his stance, showing that he was full of energy. He would occasionally roll out his neck but then return his chin to the low and safe position that it was supposed to be. His arms lowered somewhat, with his large and powerful muscles resting.

"I've heard size and weight has little relevance to the fighters of this land, I've heard that even the common gaian's abilities border or step into the supernatural. Come on, give me the chance to see what its like. I haven't been here for very long ya know?"

"I'm not a Gaian either," she said quietly, keeping her guard up. Just because he relaxed some didn't mean that he couldn't lunge at her or something equally spastic.

"I have no reason to take your life, even if you have one to justify taking mine."

Obviously, she wasn't hip to the idea of fighting for fun. The numerous fights she'd been in had been for survival; pulling punches and striking non-lethal blows were beyond her comprehension.

"Oh, so your one of those crazy mu'er ******** who think that to have a good fight you have to make em bleed everywhere.", his left hand would grab his right shoulder and he would begin to roll out his right arm, still not used to how good his body felt after getting that message at the healing house.

Both of you, there will be no killing in this facility. You obviously have no control over yourself and your actions, I don't think you are fit to work here.'

Tres stopped and looked at the lady. He thought about it. He could start fighting anyway and go all out with this chick and then completly lose his chances at getting a job here or he could just let it go and catch this fighter another time.

"I guess I'm still young, I guess I can leave you alone until your more in the mood."

He turned back to the woman at the counter, with his elbow covering the spot he had made in her counter and with a friendly smile on his face.

"Now look now, I'm sorry about that, but you got to understand for a real fighter and mixed martial artist, thats how you got to be about every fighter that knocks at your door..."

and Tres just kept on going with his bullshit, laying it on until it was tick enough and his looks finished the job of convincing this lady to give him another chance.

Merdice softened her guard and backed up until she was closer to the exit. The kid was severely unstable; his mood flip-flopped all over the place, and she didn't exactly want to be nearby when it swung all the way to murderous.

Knife sheathed, she remained nearby with an eye on the kid, just in case he turned on the poor girl behind the counter.

Entering into the gym after parking her motorcycle, Athena just walks through until she gets to her room, shuts the door behind her, and just falls back first onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling, the lights currently off. The only light was coming from the window to her left, shielded by curtains that made the room appear a little dark. Her head resting in her hands, she just let her eyes linger, thinking, thinking, thinking...and thinking some more.

"Did I cost Lu Bu their chance?" She turns over on her right side, letting her eyes close. She wasn't going to let this eat her up, despite guilt starting to pile up in her mind. "No, that's silly. Or is it because I'm denying it?"

Athena looks up to see him come in, only to return her head back down, still staring at the white wall. Her fingers twitched, as she felt that womanly emotion building up in her chest. That hot feeling that tickled at her eyes, making her want to cry. But the thought of even wanting to cry made her completely angry, holding back her sadness, making sadness into rage.

"I just have to forget all this and become stronger. I know I had that fight. I just knew it. But the judges didn't think so. If only I had more time, I would have given Crawley the beating of his life. I needed twelve rounds, Sieg. You need that much time to knock out a fighter."

She sits up in her bed, her back still to him as she hugs her knees to her chest, letting her emotion continue to drive her mouth.

"I am so stupid for trying to be all different. Throughout my entire fight, I was having this mental battle between what the people want and who I really was. It was hard, Sieg. You do not know how distracted I was in that battle. I shouldn't have been easy on him. I should have showed him that I was the better in that fight. I held back for the sake of fairness. And when I finally decide to get serious, the fight's over. I..am...SO...stupid!"
