Rai finished his bottle and sat it down as he laid back on the floor of the roof. The sky was very beautiful that night. So calm and peaceful. It made him yawn slightly where he could see some of his breath in the night air. "You know I couldn't go anywhere without you knowing first. You and Pix would kill me and that's a bunch of suffering I'd rather not go through."

Spam took a few more sips of her juice. The bottle was about half-empty; she drank it slowly to enjoy the taste better. Her gaze drifted from the night sky down to Raiden. Though the sky was beautiful, it meant much less to her than seeing her brother as relaxed as he was. With everything he'd been through...everything he was currently going through...and everything she was sure he'd go through in the future, it warmed her heart to see him be so calm, worry-free, and happy.

"I'm so glad that you'll always be with me, Bro. Even though there've been some times in the past that it looked as though you were going to leave, you're still here. And knowing you'll never leave just gives me so much hope and comfort that it feels like anything's possible."

He smiled and pulled her down to lay next to him for some stargazing. "I'm not going anywhere without you two and that's a promise." Now he reached his head over and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. "Plus someone's gotta keep this place in line while Vanku's gone. He'd never let me hear the end of it when he comes back."

The promise and the kiss made her smile hugely and blush slightly. Feeling the warmth in her cheeks, she wondered if Raiden would be able to see it in the dim light of the stars. "True. Someone's gotta keep this place from getting too crazy." Though the exact definition of 'too crazy' was open for interpretation, given the fact that this was the coven of the Madman himself, Malkav.

Raiden sat up stretching and gave out another yawn. He was feeling very sleepy now and his bed called out to him. "Well I best be getting to bed. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a long day if Hex's crony graces us with an appearance. Plus Lady Catarina needs tending to at the safehouse." He gave Spam another hug and stood up. "Goodnight Sis. See you tomorrow possibly." With a wave of the hand a wall of pink flower petals surrounded him and then completely disappeared.

Goodnight, Brother. Sleep well. So much that had to be done. Raiden was so busy recently. But the time they had spent together that night was enough for Spam; she would've preferred more time with him, but it was better than nothing. A few more minutes would be spent lying on her back and gazing at the starry sky, then she'd quickly whisper her draconic spell and teleport to her bed in her room.
