INCORRECT!, in the hands of a good person, its great

I go with M3d1c on this one. I own an R-34 and it's pretty quick on the Uphills and rainy tracks. It owns the last track, whose name escapes me (the one with Tak V2).
I believe the track you're talking about would be Tsuchisaka. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm pretty close to it. I've cleared all the way up to Shomaru (haven't beaten that one... yet...) on the "regular" course (1st time through), and all the way to Happogahara (again, haven't beaten that one... yet...) on the "wet" courses (2nd time through).

If Takumi's there and it's Version 2...then it's Irohazaka. Tsuchisaka wasn't in Version 2. And if Irohazaka's the course you're talking about...hell no, the R-34's completely horrible on that course. It's ranked 25th in dry and 28th in wet in Version 2. Plus, passing isn't nearly as hard as it is in Version 3.

If it's Version 3 and the V2 was just a typo...then yes, it's Tsuchisaka. The R34 is the worst of all the Skylines...but it's still damn good through Tsuchisaka both ways.
WHOOOT!!! i played again today and i dropped my TA on Iro to 3'15'xxx, but i got a 3'12'750 (i watched very closely as i past the finish line) when i battled on Iro, it just sux cuz i cant do that for TA, i also battled another evo4, but the guy sucked on Iro, he beat me the first time because i tried to hit the apex too close, so i took the turns too early and i ended up smacking into the apex and stalling, i did that TWICE! ont he first 2 hairpins starting off the race o.o* my worst race ever on Iro, sad thing is that i only lost by 80m, ok so i was pissed at myself for running THE lousyest run ever on Iro, so i challenge him again, and this time im racing like a mad man, right from the start, i burned him as i finally got the shift times down, then i aced the first 3 hairpins which i usually have a hard time with, and then afterwards im just tearing up the course, he never took the lead, this is the race which i got the 3'12'750, and when i raced Bunta (did it twice) i got a 3'13'000 and a 3'13'8xx, uuugh man it sux i dunno why i cant do that with the TA!!!! its soo freakin annoying, anyways i also ran a TA on Akagi DH and i dropped my time by a 1 second+ im relearning the course rather quickly, so i should be up to pace in a couple of weeks again, but man i feel like i can pawn on Iro now xd altho i know that i cant because in order to do that i need times like Kyros sweatdrop xp

I just got the hook up to my brand new Initial D card. Damn, that game's off the hook (That is what the cool kids say nowadays, right)!

The only thing is, a lot of Asians inhabit the machines, leaving none open for lil' ole me. Oh well, what better time to gawk at the sexeh men.... heart
My cars:
Lancer evo4 - A tune, maxed tune.
86Trueno - A tune, maxed out.
Rx-7 FD type R - B tune, 50k points.
Skyline GTR32 - C tune, 30k points.
Sileighty - A tune, 10k points.

The DC2 is very newbish for v.2 it can accelerate on a wall, i got sick of newbs usen it.

Im on v.3 and my lancer is battle lvl 20.
Sorry i dont TA, i perfer to battle. There completely defrent styles so i try and not taint my good battle abilitys with TA.

For TA u need to know ure course and know the perfect line and how to hit the apex just right and where to use what techniques. A very respectably style requiring alot of practice.

For battling u have to be originial and keep ure oponent on there toes ( such as swingen out of the akina gutter at high speeds in my 86 to block my friends FD comen up on the outside even if i tap the wall biggrin ) and you have to deal with little bastards down shifting u when u start owning them stressed .

The DC2 could hit a wall and not lose as much speed as most other cars. But if you're saying that that's the only thing that makes it cheap, then the GC8V is even cheaper in Version 2. The people at Initial-D.com did tests a long while back and found that the 8V could get off of the walls better than the DC2 could.

Another contributing factor to the DC2's godliness in Version 2 was its impressive turning radius.

Battling requires course knowledge as well. You're not gonna get far in a battle without it. That's why TA comes in handy. You memorize the coures and what not. Like for instance, you said that in battles, you gotta swing out of the gutters on Akina for the highest exit speed possible. You have to do that for TA as well. Most have found it more beneficial to do both, but hey, whatever works for you...

Little bastards are down-shifting your car? Don't bother with them. Learn to intimidate them like I do. Keep a pokerface when you race and stay completely focused. Oh, and race on the left side of the machine, too. biggrin

I'm Asian...so that makes me sexy? Lol. What kind of car did you get?
Eh whatever u cant defend the dc2 its cheap so there u go lol.

Yea of course u need course knoledge but with TA its alot more maticulus and in battles u sometimes dont take the course line to win for blocking and such.

When i said swingen out of the gutter i didnt mean as in the actual right way more like in the middle of the turn at the wrong time to block my friend cause he is goin much faster then me cause i ******** up the last turn lol.
