Version 3 is definitely worth it to wait for and play. I hold it as better than Version 2, mainly because of a better balance between the cars.

sweatdrop Been playing for about 6 months, god I love the game, I drive a couple of cars in Ver. 3 (RX-8 and MR2) I enjoy both of them. I've also got a pretty fast time on Shomaru, but I bet it was beaten again... Yeah the one thing I don't understand is how some people can get 4 million points so quickly after the game comes out. Even I'm not that bad. It's a fun game none the less.

2)Akagi DH
3)Irohazaka DH
4)Usui Clockwise

This is the same guy I'm racing, he's in an GC8V and I'm using the FC.

Lost first track by 20m- Lack of track knowledge was why I was beat.
Akagi DH- I won by 20m
Irohazaka- Lost by 20m
Usui- won by 220m+!

Which makes me wonder . . .

alright i'll try and save us, lol, dunno how. i have alot of cards, not gonna brag about em cause none of them have like max points though i have seen cards with almost max points, they just needed a few hundred thousand more. Ugh.....i have to tell you guys about the WORST machine ever, the english V2 machine, so bad. The seat is at ninety degree angle, the shifter is on the right and is vertical not slanted slightly, man was it bad. I remember how i hit the shifter to downshift but it would bounce and i would end up downshifting then upshifting.

Who's car do you think I have...its gotta be the FD3S AKA Mazda Rx-7 R type. The car really flys on the down hills, and most of the uphills, getting it to turn is its biggest problem.

Best lead so far...

Akagi Uphill 220 meter lead against Two Guys From Tokyo. God they sucked...

Akagi, either that or Akina. They arent too hard but again, arent too easy, its only been a month since I started playing the 3rd version but I'm hooked, hopefully today I can get a ride to the mall and get in a few hours of practice.

Does anyone do the races against the people in the show, I was wondering who some of the people are, like Dice and Smiley. I dont recall what track they are on but who the hell are these guys?

Two Guys from Tokyo...I remember that battle. What a joke. Give me a Levin and I'll beat them.

Dice and Smily. I don't remember Dice's real name but Smily is Sakai. Happogahara is where they race...and they're a part of Todou Juuku, or Todou Racing School.

The races against the people in the show? Like...racing Takumi down Akina or Mako and Sayuki through Usui? If you mean that, then yes.

Someone tried to start a guild before...it kinda failed, though.

Good luck with it. If it gets all built up, maybe I'll join. I've got my own international team, though...so who knows?

INITIAL, damnit. Initial D.

And you can still buy another card. It's not like you're limited to one. I think, in all, I have about 13 different cards that are active between both Versions 2 and 3.

bump wit ya... ack still getting beat by ppl with rx-8 and if i use an rx-8 i'm not use to it xp , o well still gotta work on the rx-7 i guess
