Damn, I played today and I got WAAAAAAAAAY better than I was before. It was cool because, I finally beat Keiuske! Before (last week) I wasn't able to beat him but, I learned how to upshift and then downshift really fast so that you get the understeer but, you don't decelerate. I think I played him twice yesterday and the 1st time he beat me but, after I battled and learned that technique... I hella beat him, he wasn't even close! *is happy now* blaugh Now, the person I want to beat now is Caine (kai)! I was hella beating him but, I he hella caught up on the jumps. He beat me by like 20m or so. It was my first time playing him so, I will probably beat him next time I play. I am having one problem though... That 1st big turn on Iro... How should I take that? I am normaly in 5th gear by then and I downshift but, I always end up raping the wall stressed Any help would be appreciated 3nodding

ok the trick to this is to down shift to 3RD GEARand start breaking once you start rolling over the white lines, swing wide to the outside then cut in hard, it takes a loooot of practice to get use to it, but thats the trick, downshifting to 3rd and breaking early, and as far as beating Caine goes, YOU MUST TAKE THE JUMPS CORRECTLY!!! that was THE only way i was able to beat him, the way you must do that is to hit the apex correctly, cuz when you do, it sets you up perfectly for the next jump

Well, what gear should I take the jumps at? I normaly am always caught off guard by the jumps when I try to do them.

On your way to turning 16. Ohh boy, im not 16 for another month, but I can already tell it's gonna suck!

The pros:
I can drive when I get my license, I won't have to get rides.
I can drive where I want, I can finally have a decent girl friend.
Drive to arcade whenever I have money.

The cons:
Since I am 16, they are going to cut my cash flow which means I need a job.
It will be too hard to balance work and school.

Nope! LOL, I think I am missing two people on Usui (will get them sooner or later) They are not hard but, I like the other challenges. No Akina and I only need Caine for Iro. I have passed Myogi and Akagi though blaugh

hey Kyros, just out of question, how much advantage would a full tuned car have over a basic tuned tuned car, cuz one of the guys that i use to race against is talking a loooot of crap and he rapes the walls like theres a buffet going on, and ive raced him before not too long ago, and i had a muuuuuuch cleaner line then he did yet, im thinking that because of him being FT, EvoIII, that is what gave him the advantage over me like that, its either that or his Misfiring System stare help me out here Kyros, im reaaaally wanting to kill this guys ego here

Well, what gear should I take the jumps at? I normaly am always caught off guard by the jumps when I try to do them.

dont go below 3rd gear, i sometimes flutter between 3rd and 4th, sorta like 4th, then down shift to make the jump, back up to 4th, then downshift again, just repeat, now remember im in an Evo, so things may be differently for your car, i dunno, but thats how i take them

hmm it'll be hard to fish him, simply because he has an EvoIII and his best courses are the same as mine, it'll simply come down to the person who has the better skill, but that wont happen until i FT my car tho crying

The FT car will have a better take off launch than you (YOU WILL BE BEHIND THE OTHER CAR.) The FT car will have better acceleration than you (YOU WILL BE ACCELERATING SLOWER THAN THE OTHER CAR.) This is all assuming that both cars are identical and are of the same base tune.
