I recently got into Version 3. I drive a R34 (Nissan Skyline GT-R). I'm an alright driver but for some reason can beat harder racers easier than the easy ones. >< But I've only got like 21k points. So only two upgrades for meh stressed But Its a pretty good game.

How long have you been using your R34? I saw this guy with a silvia K's stock and he beat everyone on Iro, Happo, and Akagi. It was cool to see him beat all of thoes people with a stock car 3nodding

Heh, thanks. I prefer to lead, so the start-up will be a relief from my GC8. I hear they handle about the same, so it shouldn't be much of a problem switching between the two. Plus, I get a sticker ^_^

Whats the start up for the Spirit R? Because if its good, then either im not starting it up right, or people have better start ups then me.

Hmm...Another thing, if your Evo III is going to have a good start up, and handle almost the same as your GC8....Wouldn't that be almost ultimate pwnage?

Depends on what your opponent is using against your Spirit-R.

I've never handled a GC8 myself. There's a GC8 that I picked up (an unwanted card) but I've never tested it out myself...and I probably won't, anyway. I still need to push myself with my main cars.

Depends on what your opponent is using against your Spirit-R.

I've never handled a GC8 myself. There's a GC8 that I picked up (an unwanted card) but I've never tested it out myself...and I probably won't, anyway. I still need to push myself with my main cars.

Once I bought a used Initial D DVD from a store and inside there was a version 2 trueno but, all of the ink on the top of the card was gone cept for the letters (eno) so, it was obvious. I will probably never use it... I use it as a bookmark for school xd

Well, if I wanted Ultimate Pwnage, I'd use an Evo IV. But, this should get the job done. And the start up on the FD (any of them) isn't great, but once you hit third gear, you should pull ahead of most people.

Don't even complain, you don't know what top speed failure is till you drive a Levin. Your car handles alot like my 86 Levin, just understeers more in mid-drift.

Just for future reference, what was the highest speed you've ever gotten with your Levin?

I think about a 202, on Myogi. It can reach 205..but getting there is tough.

I got my Evo III and I put a 109k on it today. Damn, I really love this car. I'm so afraid the handling is going to suck when it gets the MFS.

to most people, startup is everything...that's why i got an 8v...so i could pass everyone...cause startup isn't anything if you can't take the turns tighter than your opponent.

I battle....a lot...bl 22...

I ran a few TAs yesterday...and battled a few more people...almost at 75%...i hope that i can get some more battles in this weekend, and get my red aura. I got pretty pissed when i was running akina/dh/wet TAs, b/c the 2nd turn, I normally take at 130 w/o hitting a wall, and i was going thru it at 126 and hitting the wall stressed
