Ironically, I perform better in this game after a round of initial D.

I think that's a bit misleading J, the R34 may be fast as hell..but it turns like a tank.

You my good man...are an uninformed person.

You have to realize, that even though it has to take turns slower than some cars to go through them clean, you can still block easily. I mean, there's a lot of really good R34 drivers such as: HIRA, SORAN, and multiple others. Hira (A member of Project Nitian) has even gone as far as beating HERON (The leader of Project Nitian) on akina/dh, 34 vs levin (don't remember which one...pretty sure it was an 85). Simply by blocking after the turns, and Hira even out-accelerated it on the straightaway!

Also, You have to take into consideration that startup can be one of the most crucial parts of the race. Some people can block the whole race, even if they do make mistakes (I make mistakes too...). The difference between startup can mean winning or losing a race. I have plenty of vids where one driver blocks the other the whole race, and some of them made very big mistakes.

Let me set an example:
Say someone in a 34 races a buntamobile on akina/dh/wet. The 34 obviously will have startup, since the 8v has one of the worst startups in the game (29th overall startup). The 8v may be able to take the turns at a higher speed, but if the 34 takes the appropriate line and takes it at a commendable speed, then it could block and out-accelerate an 8v later on (Since the 34 has the best acceleration out of the corners over any car).

And Ryu, The reason most people don't drive skylines in ID, is because they can't cope with understeer. Most noobs believe that if it can't go through a turn at full throttle, then it shouldn't be used. Thus became of the integra nooblets in v.2.

Trust me, I know who Heron is, he's my idol. And as I browse the I-D Forums, I know of the HIRA and Heron battles. I drove a ER34 for a few weeks, and I know the big a** helps. It's the only thing that kept me from getting overtaken, I was thankful, heh. I just meant that, even if you can keep people from passing you, it still doesn't change the fact that it handles like a tank. I couldn't use the R34, I hate being tailgated.

R34 being the tank it is, is till a very good car only because it's keeps up a limited pace with higher ranking cars.
but like i said before .. R32,R34,ER34 are very good on wet tracks.

It does, but it accepts only one at a time. Just took awhile, but I did that.
