I know it's not good to wish it on anyone but rn fck it. If people like him (and your country's cheeto) get it because they are endangering people's lives then I'm gonna wish for it. Aw that sucks. I am sorry I think you need better friends. Distance should never matter between friends tbh. I mean, that's why social media exists to make communication better. smh.

Her hospice was supposed to send one, but the whole hospice thing is a mess right now. My parent's old one got bought out and is being absorbed by their new one. The new hospice also kicked my dad off saying he wasn't bad enough to be on it. Like I said, it's a mess.

That's why we have a discord channel just for the four of us. Yet I still feel out of the loop. I didn't know one of my friends (he's not in the discord but one of the ones in the discord is married to him) had a knee surgery. But this has been going on for awhile. One of my friends went to SCAD for college and I didn't know her sister (they're twins so I'm friends with both) and mother took another friend without telling me they were going to Georgia to help clean up her dorm. I kinda understand they didn't want to hurt my feelings since they could only afford one extra ticket, but it hurts more that no one told me what was going on. I was worried since I was trying to contact them for something and was worried when I never heard a reply for days. I told them that and they at least apologized.

I have so many books I haven't read yet. On top of that, I have a book club that has me buying new books quarterly and I'm rereading my old books to decide which ones I'm keeping. The books I want to get are for my studies for my path on witchcraft and possibly Wicca. Haven't fully decided if I'm going to become Wiccan. Everything about Wicca makes sense to me as a religion, but something is holding me back for some reason.

I got a cute white one for Christmas. I decorate it with the theme of pink and sweets. Since I got it, I couldn't justify getting a black one. Now I do!

pain is always terrible, would be nice if there was a way to damper the pain by not taking all those pills

True. I have to take this pill every morning and night just so my back won't bother me. But because of it, I can't take anything stronger than a Tylenol for any other kind of pain which helps a little.

Let's hope so. He did say that if the pain continues after the pt that it's MRI time.

Maybe. There are a lot of people leaving and finding new jobs because of the new company. My mom is getting all new people now despite her saying she wanted to keep them because they're leaving (except her CNA who she wanted replaced, she was let go).

What it was is that they felt bad that they could only take one of us and didn't want to hurt my feelings. The one who went doesn't get to travel much, not to mention they were helping the one in Georgia come back home and I'm not in the best of shape to help. I was more upset about not knowing about it since I was worried about them not responding to calls. I've told them it bothers me when I'm left out of the loop, but they still have a tendency to do so.

No kidding... Some of the books for my book club are part of a series, so it makes me want to pick up the rest of it. Last one was part of the Diskworld series, now I want to read all 30 some books!

Yeah, I've only started studying Wicca and witchcraft in July. I think it's because I was raised Catholic that I don't want to upset my mom who is kinda religious. I mean, she's not ultra religious but she wishes she could at least go to church.

Same here. About half my books belonged to my dad, but he's not able to read much these days (can't focus on the words). He gave me his collection since we have similar tastes in books. Thing is, the books got put in storage when we moved years ago and might have gotten damaged. I do have a few on my shelf at least.

I might have put that the wrong way. See, she's been cool about me not believing in organized religion. A little sad, but cool about it. There is a strong chance she would be cool about me becoming Wiccan, but still a little sad. On the other hand, I haven't told them about my studies mostly because of my dad. I doubt he would take it serious and might make fun of it. He has a bad habit of doing that.

Damn. Have you tried.. I actually forgot the term but it was what my mom did for me while I was hospitalized and couldnt shower. she got me a bin of warm water so i could "wash" myself with a cloth i dipped in it. took forever but it helped. I hope you find a new hospice soon.

ugh. :c i feel you. we've moved a year ago and there are still a lot of books left at the old house that we cant get to because of this damn pandemic. im worried about how much damage they'd be in right now. :c also the photo albums. :c and some important documents. old houses that have not been lived in for awhile tend to attract rats. :c rats destroy everything. :c
