I have to confess something... I've lost the faith. I no longer believe in the Mods. It's just... there are so many topics full of nothing but the same love/hate bush/kerry/christianity/islam bullshit that stay around for too long, too many abuses that go without any reparation.

But, gentle soul, the Mods presence is felt here. Noraboo has made her presence known, and the entire host of the M&R ED came forth to destroy the abuses within the 'DOES ORAL SEX COUNT?' thread.

Gaians make choices, Nick. We choose to discuss or spam. We are capable, and often guilty of, both. The mods cannot prevent our choices. They can but simply guide us on the way, and protect us from the worst of abuse. It is up to us to live like Mods and post like mods to make gaia in the Admin's image.

I agree with Nick. If there are mods, why can so much crap get by? And why would Mod make a place like Chatterbox? Could a loving Mod make a place like that?

No. A loving mod would never create a place like the chatterbox. That's what general discussion is for. It keeps the frightening ones away by providing a place for spammers to feel like they're getting in the way while doing little damage.

You act as though they are forced into Chatterbox, only a few are. Most enter chatterbox of their own free will, if that seems possible.
