They wern't sprite edits, they are full blown character edits. The zombie homer has the looks of a zombie, his attacks leave blood splats, his stance he walks like frankenstien etc.
The sub zero Ryu one has a ninja hood and mask on ryu, with a blue gi, and all ranged attacks fire sub zeros ice. Soon he will be able to use ice clone as well...

You can use fighter factory to make a color pallette and change colrors, but for these edits I had to remake every sprite, and even make several from scratch.

Those are the standard life bars that come with mugen I just changed the color to black and red.
