What I want to know is why people get all bent out of shape when they hear about teenagers masturbating.

People worry about that..? D: Babies masturbate. It comes naturally. I can't think of one thing that makes masturbating "wrong". And it's certainly nothing to worry about. The worst that can happen is probably if you get a cramp in your hand or something. x]
I'm fourteen, too, and I don't see anything wrong with it (as long as you use a condom!), but I'm not personally ready.

And it is that part of you that keeps you from becoming a soulless machine. The only part of you that grows is the part you're willing to indulge, and my advice to you is to indulge your deeper side, the side that keeps wondering, keeps hoping.

But even if there is no meaning to life, that's what makes it fun; you can GIVE it a purpose! You can rise above the urges of your body and the calculations of your mind and become something better, something worth existing!

Something worth existing? Give it a purpose?

Come now, and you say you're not narrow minded.

I see no problem with your purpose being to enjoy yourself and indulge your bodily urges, it seems a tad egocentric, nevermind naive, to think that you're anymore a worthwhile human being because you live the way you do as opposed to the way someone else does.

There's one right here *raises hand*.

Sidenote, "chemical chance" is as valid an exclamation as "god", and is damn satisfying for a variety of reasons.
Well personally to me sex is a form of love. And people as young as 12-15 or what ever have you, sorry but I truely believe they do not know what love is. At that age hormones are ranging and you can like a person one day but the next hate them. You should have sex with someone you truely love and not only hope but have true confidence that it will last. That no matter what comes your way you're able to hold onto that love.

On top of that many people who start a relationship and have sex early on, unfortunately their relationships don't tend to last 4 weeks after. Is that truely what someone wants for their life? Just swinging from person to person? I sure hope not. And having sex at a young age won't help this issue. I mean really have you not been in school and known that their was this one girl in particular that everyone thought of her as a whore? I don't know about you but I would hate to be called that. As a teenager no one should have to go through that humiliation.

Lastly one could of course day the obvious, the possibility of getting an STD or for girls getting pregnant. Yes you can use a condom but condoms don't always protect you. Especially if you use them wrong. Which most people do.

So seriously having sex at a young age is just a stupid idea. Better to save your self for when you know your emotions are under control and know the person you will have it with is the one not just some other guy who you'll break up with easily. Plus always remember the STD and pregnant thing. No one wants to have a child at a young age.

Truely it is not something a teen can handle at most times. Plus most teens don't have the money to support themselves let alone a child.

Because they will all grow up to be little whores(UNISEX TERM!) and over populate the earth. Simple as that.

STD's;AIDS;etc. are also problems.

Those are problems no matter WHAT age you are.

Im 18 and still have my V-card and it's not beacuse im unattractive. Ita actually make guys want you more.

In my experience, girls can usually lie about being Virgins...and get away with it.

Del!r!ous.Del!r!um
Keep your INNOCENCE while you can, ya know?

What's so great about innocence? What are the benefits of 'innocence'? Because honestly, I know kids who watch porn every other day and use swear words constantly and hit on anyone they see...and they're Virgins. According to what you're saying, they're innocent.

1. Too young to get pregnant
2. STD
3. LAW!!!

1. Pregnancy won't dissapear at age 18+, and for some, it's not to early. Some teens WANT and CAN handle a child.
2. STDs...I'm so ******** sick of this always being brought up to stop teens from having sex. Okay, listen carefully. All of you. STDs DO NOT GO AWAY ONCE YOU ARE MARRIED OR OVER 18. YOU CAN STILL CONTRACT THEM. THIS RISK IS NOT ONLY TO TEENS. THIS POINT IS NOT VALID IN ANYWAY TO STOP TEENS FROM SEX.
3. You are correct on this, however, no one gives a s**t. Police only really do something if one is over 18 and the other is a minor, or if they are ******** in public. Do not post things that anyone, even a n00b, can call you on.

Actualyl ye it can be, dependin on the age. Technicall anyone under the AOC where you live, not supposed to, even if both are under. If one is the AoC (say 16 in most places) and the other is +/_ liek 3 year it "illegal", and of coucge if one over 18 and one is under, ever at the AoC, there essentially F*&K'd The law is heavily flawed, and need adjustments. Check this. The issue is that if yo uunder 18 (with the exception to drive -16 for most), you have no right. But is it right to say those young should have the right ot do with there bodies as they choose? It's harming no one.
At the lofty and mature age of 21 (*snort* yeah, right) I am personally of the belief that people can, in fact, feel love at an early age. Yeah, hormones are flying, and no, people probably aren't quite as wildly in love as they think they are, but how do you define love? Love is pretty simple. It's that funny feeling you get when you see someone who moves you in some way. Are there varying degrees of love? Yes. Absolutely. There IS a difference between the way you feel about your first boyfriend at the age of 14 and the way you feel about the man/woman/squid you marry.

That said...sex at like 13? Hrm...I'm not such a fan. I just think that a lot of people that young are just in a bad place to have to deal with the kind of emotional fallout that DOES tend to be associated with sex. Hell, I'm 21, and I STILL have a hard time with it--it was that much worse when I was a teenager.

The risks of pregnancy, STDs, etc aside--the risks to one's emotional and mental health concern me, if nothing else.
because they could get pregnant, and hormones will keep u thinking about it and u will want more. im 13 and still a virgin. biggrin

LAW

Insert exclamation marks or pointless ranting before or after as appropriate.

For the lagality of the issue, in Los Angeles, a man can legally beat his wife with a leather belt or strap, but the belt can't be wider than 2 inches, unless he has his wife's consent to beat her with a wider strap. Consent should be given prior to the event, as is carefully stipulated.

In South Korea, traffic policemen are required to report all bribes that they receive from motorists.

In Sweden, prostitution is legal but it is illegal to use the services of a prostitute.

The list of preposterous laws goes on nearly without end.

Because something is or is not law merely makes something legal or illegal, not logical or illogical, valid or invalid, etc, etc, are you incapable of thinking for yourselves and deciphering your own reasoning?

You forgot one: In the city of campbell, it is a $500 fine to set off a nucular (I know it's spelled wrong) device within city limits.

But yeah, I do agree with you. Just because the law says you can't do something, doesn't mean people will or are ever going to listen. Stealing is against the law, and yet we have theives. Murder is against the law and yet we have murderers. Are you (Guy who Kosher_Krackers is quoting) really going to bring up law into something that if every member of the Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Coast guard, Airforce, and cop were to look into nothing but stopping that, it would still happen?

I respond because that 'rawr, pay attention to me!' moment made me giggle. It worked out for you, yes. But, there's one major thing that a lot of people have been ignoring. These kids are usually still living in the homes of their parents. Cared for, fed, and sheltered by -the parents-. Financially supported by the parents. Yes, there are some kids mentally able to handle sex. But there is a problem with that even so. There's always the 'if' of something going wrong. Always. And when you are a minor that is a dependant themselves, how is it fair to say it's okay when impatience and selfish actions become rights given to these children who have no way to actually suffer the consequences themselves? As I once said earlier, if any STD was contracted, the parent would be the ones ending up paying medical bills. If pregnancy occurred, it's the still the parent s footing the bill most of the time or having to use their own time and effort to help raise their baby's baby for them.

If a minor is self-sufficient and can stand on their own two feet financially, I say it's fine then. -Then- you aren't hurting anyone with it. But to go into it, knowing the risks, but not having any way to honestly face those risks without having someone else facing them for you isn't right.
