I personally wouldn't get an abortion, but then again, I would have no need to (rape being a seperate issue), my theory behind abortion is the following two things...even if I personally disagree with it, I know that there are still people that will have them illegal or not, so I'd rather have the womyn (yes, I spell it with a Y...please don't tell me its spelt wrong blah blah blah) be given safe abortions instead of it being like the 60s all over again with all the black market abortions ending in serious infection or death. I don't think that there is a clause that can be made in legislation against abortion concerning rape. What I mean by this, is that if a law against abortion were to be made and Roe Vs Wade were to be over turned, then there can't be a "well, if you were raped, that's a different story"

This is the post i'm guessing. I don't have much to say about it since on it's not illegal here it's just about morals and opinons and I already wrote were I stand and two i'm not looking to banned it all together, just for the need and want to lessen.

everywhere...I handed in an english paper with womyn written on it, and my professor didn't take points off for it (I explained why I use a Y in a post it attatched to my paper)

Nygeel, I'd just like to tell you the correct term for those black market abortions: back alley abortions...

Some more on my view of things: I would hope I would able get an abortion in case I have sex and my contraceptive fails, plus, I would not be a good mother to a baby, babies disgust me, and who knows how'd I'd be toward my own if I did ever get pregnant in ten years... and I'd rather adopt a small kid and a teen.

It's not ment to take them all the time (which is why it's not over the counter like most medicain) but for cases like condom braking, rape, or only do it every so offten not all the time then I see no problem with then.

I think (not sure) that almost all of the time a doctor won't let a female to use the morning after pill twice...its not very effective...or is it affective? No, its effective.

Untrue. The morning after pill's effectiveness is generally the same every time. It's just that using it often is possibly a bit risky, given that it is a large dose of hormones.

hm...I suppose, its one of those things where if a condom broke, or you forgot to take a birth control pill for a day or two...
