You choose the risks of getting hurt in a car by getting in the car. If you were the passanger, and the driver was going at a green light and someone else hit them, both are at fault because they choose to drive, knowing the risks?

The equiviant to rape is if you don't get in the car, you can still be hurt by them. I was hit by a car twice.

honestly, you don't kill something for living it doesn't matter if it's an accident or it's not your fault it's there. It's life and it's there for a reason give it a chance to live before it dies.

If you assume the risks of getting in a vehicle and getting injured, then since it's your fault for taking such risk, you shouldn't be allowed medical treatment. That's the same as saying that since I assumed the risk of getting pregnant and engaged in sexual intercourse, that I shouldn't be allowed to get an abortion. Not everything is black and blue. You need to look into what we're saying, not focus on the mechanisms taking place in the discussion. Why should someone who got pregnant be denied any medical treatment they wish when someone else gets medical treatment for another incident that was just as much their fault? THAT'S the question you have yet to answer. Now stop focusing on the cars please. You sound too much like a politician when you dance around the real issues and real questions being asked.

How is it not the same?

Getting a ride = risk of crashing. Having sex = risk of pregnancy. Crash = medical attention. Pregnancy = abortion (not in all cases, sure, but...).
