I dont care about that. In my opinion is a life and have my blood and in another more days he or she are going to have some of my characteristics. For my is a life that need my love and need to live. Who Im to decide to kill? I really dont care. If you dont want to have a baby (if is that the case to abort a baby) why you have sex!!!! Have ways to not have a baby.

Okay then. You don't abort.

But don't tell others not to.

Sex isn't only for reproduction and birth control pills or condoms can fail.

I just make my point. I know that sex isnt only for reproduction but if you dont want consequence, find other ways not abortion for prevent a baby.

A woman doesn't just think "Okay! I'm gonna keep having sex until I get pregnant so I can pay $300 for an abortion instead of some cheap assed pack of condoms!"

Most women who abort did use some kind of contraceptive to avoid pregnancy. And even then, it can fail.

Risk, not certainty. It's easy to say it isn't an intelligent choice but if you've just warched your daughter die of cystic fibrosis and you're pregnant again risking miscarriage could be worth it to know that you're not going to have to go through the living hell that watching a child slowly deteriorate and die is.

True that risk is not certainty. The case you have given me is of an individual not the general population. In the case of this woman, why would she risk getting pregnant again? Wouldn't adoption have been a better choice? Either way, they inform parents of the risks and percentages of their next child coming out with a disease. When the parents become aware of this then they must make very careful choices. Getting pregnant again is one of the big ones. This is why there is so much research going on to help people with such diseases. What would happen if the woman aborted and they came up with a cure for cystic fibrosis meaning that the child could have lived a long healthy life. Sad isn't it?

Haven't you noticed, accidents happen. Maybe they didn't mean to get pregnant again but she did. And yes, maybe in 3 years we'll discover a wonder-drug that'll cure everything, but it's not likely. It's more likely that you're going to force that women to watch her second child die slowly and painfully while she can't do anything for it. Also, percentage means ******** all when you're pregnant. When it's alredy there you don't want to know that each of your children has a 1/4 chance of having cystic fibrosis, you want to know if this one specifically has cystic fibrosis.

I would feel nothing because at the stage that they would be aborting me my brain would not be connected.

♥Abortion is wrong. Sure, if you get raped, you don't want the baby, but is your own satisfaction worth basically killing non-born life? And if you had sex but didn't want a baby, then you get a baby, it's your own fault. You knew there was a chance to get pregnant, and you took the chance. In any matter, it is WRONG!!! You're killing a baby that has a chance at life and wants to be born, and you take that chance away from them. It's like getting a chance at something you REALLY wanted and someone taking it away. Also, what if your mom had abortion when you were being born? You wouldn't even be READING this if that happened. If you still think abortion is right, then you try it and feel guilt. I'd have gone from unconcious to unconcious. I'd have never know I existed or didn't exist.
Plus, I'd have been reincarnated, in accordance to my religious beliefs.

And when they find the cure I wouldn't abort if my child had that condition. But I'm not going to let my child suffer for a what if.

It's amazing how they have so much research going on to help people with these diseases. And yet they still manage to help all of these cases without killing them before they are even born.

Many diseases can be found while the fetus is still a fetus.
