My mom got off without any reproductive capabilities.

My gran died in childbirth. It's entirely possible that what I've recently been diagnosed with is what lead to the bleed on the brain that caused her death. This condition is elevated by sex hormones. Thus not only am I not allowed to use hormonal contraceptives but pregnancy would be dangerous for me, though likely admitedly it wouldn't kill me since I'm diagnosed and my gran did complain repeatedly of severed headaches, she died after having my dad so it's a long time back when doctors would still hear "severe headache" and tell her to take a painkiller and lie down.

Frivilous to the point that Pregnancy is ALLWAYS [let alone a MAJORITY of the time... HARMFUL] injurious as opposed to flat out uncomfortable/Not normal.]
You are still wrong though that pregnancy only rarely causes harm though, which is the point I am trying to get across,

He never said human life, he just said LIFE.

What's so good about human life? Why isn't a cow just as valued? OH yeah, because we eat it. Therefore, it is of no value to us but our conveniance. You have a choice of eating it or not. I'm not going to force Random Person #2 to eat it simply because I do, nor would I force them into NOT eating tasty cow flesh because I don't, or I think it's immoral.

That's the beauty of choice.

The moment that pig's fly, cows don't die and we all don't need to get high and haughty over our own opinions is when I'll consider Humans and Animals on anything close to an equal level other than biological functioning-logic. Even still.. We aren't.

Humans are seperate from this world for what we do to/for it.
If it's not obvious by global warming, then it's obvious by our technological advancements.

We are on the top of the food-chain as well as the smartest creatures on this Earth. IF there was any other truth, there would be proof.
But an unsentinent fetus will never do any of that, which is why I place sentinent animals above it with matters of value.

Too bad that the fetus has more of a chance to become something unconceivable in comparison to any animal.
Too bad I find potential to mean s**t.

Dude...you have more closing brackets than ending brackets...and I don't see anything that could make them considered smilies...plus they don't separate clauses from each other...I have no idea what you're trying to say.

Basically, pregnancy always is harmful. Usually injurious. 'usual' is basically synonymous with 'normal', so logically, you're either wrong or I'm misreading you.

...we're seperate from the world. I can see how people think that, these days, but we are completely and utterly dependent on life around us. Seriously, from things like trees right down to the microbes in your gut, you are utterly and totally dependent on other organisms to keep you alive. You can lock yourself in a house and destroy some plants and tell yourself you're better then everything else but at the end of the day you're only alive because of them.

Those things don't make us seperate from the world. They make us an influential part of it.

And global warming, while it may have been exacerbated by humans, was most definitely happening anyway.

While I cannot argue that we're the top predators, and intelligence is too unweidy to debate (Wait, we're the smartest AND we define what connotes intelligence? SUPER!) I can ask you this: Why do these things make us better or more important?

Sorry, Digi, but that just doesn't make sense. Is "unconcievable" even a word? I'm pretty sure it's "inconcievable", though I admit I may be wrong...

Too minor would be thoughts/ideals/morals that are so subjective that common-ground is un-establishable due to a lack of any logic agreed apon within the debate itself. That highly includes extenuating circumstances; such as emergency situations.

And why are extenuating circumstances and emergency situations acceptable while others are not?

Why...?
What do you mean why?
Is not the use of the word EXTENUATING enough for you?

1. To lessen or attempt to lessen the magnitude or seriousness of, especially by providing partial excuses. See Synonyms at palliate.
2. Archaic.
1. To make thin or emaciated.
2. To reduce the strength of.
3. Obsolete. To belittle; disparage.

adj : partially excusing or justifying; "extenuating circumstances"

The only true thing implied here is that there are some sitautions that absolutely call for an abortion; as well as those that suggest it's TRULY the best option.

I'm sorry.. But did you not recognize what the post from the mod about flaming meant?

Witty or not.. I realized my mistake before you posted it's correction.

No need for me to let you know besides the obvious fact that you display a lack of understanding of what that post meant.

You said harm was rare, we have two mothers, a grandmother and me with my potential, how many people are actively participating right now? Sure, we're not a completely random sample but I'd say that fact that all of us have knowledge of women who've had problems and one of them risks them herself should be an indication that they're not exactly rare.

Which I concur with.
But do you think that there are situations in which abortion should not be allowed? Regardless of whether or not there are better options?

We are not seperite. We alter it. There's a difference. We can alter our skin, with tattoos or piercings, but we're not seperite from it, nor will we ever be.

And just because something has a 'chance' to do something wonderful doesn't mean it will. A dog has a chance to save it's owner from a burning building. Does that mean every dog born will? Should we all get a dog, even the ones allergic to them, just in case?

Ps. I can't see your posts unless someone else quotes you.

Dude, I'm not flaming you, calm down. I was just confused and was asking for clarification.
