well science can be good some times but when i heard about evolution i hated it cause what makes more sense we were monkeys well if we were where did the monkeys come from and the earth and the universe

EVOLUTION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHERE LIFE CAME FROM OR THE PLANET OR THE UNIVERSE. EVOLUTION IS ONLY CONCERNED WITH HOW EXISTING LIFE CHANGES.

Where life came from is abiogenesis.

Where the planet came from is planet formation theories (gravity acting on an inhomogeneous dust distribution).

Where the universe came from, there is no theory fro since such an explanation would rely on events outside of the present state of the universe.

it just doesn't make sense i think that science is just some times true but some times the biggest lode of crap i have ever seen

Remember that evolution is the biggest driving force in medicine. Without any concept that life changes over time, we would still be using penicillin and dieing far more often from common illness since the bacteria would:
1.) be stronger.
2.) resistant to the antibiotic being prescribed.
Science is based upon observation. If it is not based upon observation of nature, it probably isn't science.

so i believe that the world just didn't pop out of no where that there is a god who made it and that he is more then a god but i person type thing that we should praise cause with out him there wouldn't be a world

Good for you. I see no reason why this is incompatible with the view that science puts forward.

so witch would you believe science or god

Why must a decision be made? Why not believe both?
Evolution is a science, it may not have been proven, but there is a lot of evidence for it. Besides, you could believe in both god and evolution, because evolution doesn't create, it only changes what it already there. So, evolution should be taught in all schools, as it is, because it shouldn't contradict religious beliefs too much, and it is a science, unlike ID which IS illegal to teach in public schools because it is NOT a science, and it would be forcing beliefs upon those who don't believe in a higher power. Evolution, like a lot of other aspects of science, is just a theory, meaning, it could be ,or it couldn't be. So kids learn about it but they don't have to agree with it.

I think the thoughts of Evolution as a whole have too many holes in their arguments,so before further teaching these ideas should be further reorganized, and more and more evidence is being found for intelligent design so I think both should be taught as ideas about world and life origins unless one can be fully proven or disproven.

That is not what science is about. You can't really "prove" anything. It's more, "This is what we have discovered, and we are able to repeat this result over and over, so until we find more info, this will be the general theory."

I'm a "religious" person. As far as I'm concerned, I've accepted the theory of Darwinistic evolution. Not everything started as it is now. Does this mean I believe in "Theistic Evolution." Nope. That theory is all bull. Does this mean I think species have a common ancestor? Of course. Does this mean I think that evolution is how everything started? Nope. I believe in Creationism. No amount of brainwashing lead me to that conclusion. It just makes sense to me.

How do you define creationism and what does evolution have to do with how everything started?

I define Creationsim as what happened in the Bible, probably metaphorically and not literally. And there are some people that believe ever since the dawn of existance, everything we know now came from one common ancestor.
Evolution should be taught if so many people here don't know what it is.
I'm not christian. Not that I am against christianity, I'm just not Christian. I wouldnt want christanity rammed down my throat against my own will. I WANT to learn about evolotion in school. However, Christians would more then likely disagree with me, and that's fine. beliefs are just that. And I'd have no right to demand to learn one and not the other. If you teach one you must teach the other. And since both are touchy subjects, I believe neither should be taught. Some things are better left to figuring out on your own.

Unless it's a private school I think that's illegal. Certainly it cripples the children's education in the sciences.

wut he said if it's a private skool then i totally understand but it still might somewut ruin their whole thoughts on sciences ....you know ruin their basic knowledge on basic science
I liked studying it.

I believe in Evolution.

However, I believe it was created by God to help his creatures survive. smile
Evolution is a religion in my opinion... Both require some degree of faith,

Evolution - A scientist/teacher would tell you that the energies/particles that egnited the "big bang" were just there. They cant tell u how they got there, becuase they were just there...

Religion- A Religious person would tell you that God was just there...Not how he got there, you would have to have faith in the fact that God was always here...

So in my opinion both subjects are a "regligion" in a sense, one taking a mystical/religious approach, one taking a scientifical approach.

Personally why not teach both in a school, you dont have to ram it down the students throats, or even force them to believe, just teach it and let them decide what to believe and not to believe... Atleast if you teach them both students can be intruduced to them both...

Evolution is so far from what you said it's humorous.
I mean, you're not even talking about abiogenesis this time. Evolution doesn't even have to do with where life came from, it has to do with how it changes. That evolution happens is clearly observable fact (just look at the mosquitoes in the London Underground or the flu). The Theory of Evolution describes our current understanding of why this happens. You sir, are a sterling example of why evolution theory should be taught better.
Sigh....

Lets define evolution and its many meanings....

1) Cosmi Evolution (Aka "The Big Bang) - the origin of time, space, and matter.

2) Chemical Evolution - the origin of higher elements from hydrogen.

3) Stellar and Planetary evolution - Origin of the stars and planets. Noone has ever seen a star or planet form.

4) Organic Evolution - Origin of Life

5) Macro Evolution - Changing from one kind of an animal into another

I dont know what u were taught about evolution, but one of the biggest debates in evolution is the "Big Bang" Theory.

What a part of evoltion teaches is The universe started with the "Big Bang" 20 Million years ago. What i was saying was u have to take a degree of faith on this theory.

1) What exploded?

2) Where did it come from?

And in that fact you have to take faith that it was just there, and was always there... Wich relates to religion, and god who was just there, and always there...Both require some degree of faith..

Conclusion - Evolution isn't a science, nor a teaching of science, its a religion..

Also, Arakeshi, YOU sir are a prime example of why evolution should be tought better..
