we should stop teaching the theory that the sun is the center of the solar system. We all know that the earth is the center of creation and the moon and sun were put in the firmament of the heavens by god. We should also stop trying to teach that the moon reflect ligh from the sun. the Bible clearly states the moon is a lesser light made to rule the night. thus the moon glows with its own luminescence. It only looks otherwise because the devil is tricking us. thats why we call the moons of mars Phobos and Deimos they are clearly demons in the sky trying to fool us into thinking object could orbit around anything but Earth

.............I do believe this is the first geocentrist that I've ever run into.........I sure hope she's joking...... burning_eyes .......

Looks like sarcasm. I mean, nobody who believes the Earth is the center of the universe knows about Phobos and Deimos, let alone the Greek meaning of the words.

Hey, that's a "No True Scotsman" fallacy! surprised

Is it? ninja
how come ligers cant breed with each other?
if the earth was formed from molten rock how does granite, a rock that is composed of 6 diferent minerals all with different melting points, exsist?
how is it posible to find quartz in the grand canyon?
how can we find frozen mamoths with preserved food in thier stomachs?
how does ayer rock exist?

Why are they supposed to?

First, who said granite was 4,5 billion years old? Secondly, different melting points only mean the Earth had to be hot enough to melt the rock with the highest melting point. As long as the heat is below the lowest... err... vaporization point, it's all good.

I'm so puzzled by your post, I don't know what truth you're hinting at. It's not like any of those points support or disprove Creationism OR its opposite.
Ah, another example of creationist 'reasons' why evolution is wrong. It doesn't matter whether you know A) what evolution is or B) the meaning of the reasons, they are correct, they prove evolution is wrong, therefore, the Bible is right.

Learn them verbatim, children. You will really impress people with your knowledge.
hopper_G

Sex chromosomes are not sufficient.

hopper_G
if the earth was formed from molten rock how does granite, a rock that is composed of 6 diferent minerals all with different melting points, exsist?
Because they don't necessarily bond when melted.

hopper_G
how is it posible to find quartz in the grand canyon?
Because quartz forms in the presence of water. The Grand Canyone was carved out by a river.

hopper_G
how can we find frozen mamoths with preserved food in thier stomachs?
Because they were mummified, having died in extremely cold climates.

hopper_G
how does ayer rock exist?
Differentiation and/or deposition.

hopper_G
why are yall so stuburn to see the truth!?
Because your "truth" is based on bad information.

lions and tigers are from the same genus so there offspring should be able to breed by an evolusionists point of view

the earths crust is 1/3 granite and those giant granite slabs are 3 miles deep how do you think they were formed

the grand canyon is about a mile down molton quarts has a high melting point but when mixed with water, flowing from lake hopi and the great lake, its melting piont is considerably lowered, this is also fown in black canyon

ayers rock is a rock in the middle of australia is is made of sedenent. evolusionests say is was build up by the wind depositing the sedements, but that doesn't help because there is fossil evidence and it is eroding

All of your supports have been refuted. As such, they cannot support the hypothesis, making it unelegable to become a theory, which means, given it's a failed hypothesis, it has no place in schools.
Is lousy spelling a badge of honor among creationists? "We reject your Godless science and your Godless spelling rules!"
There are many different cultural and religious creationism theories, but almost all have a great flood like the one in Genesis. The Christian theory is that God created the earth and man in six days and rested on the seventh day. On the first day God created light and separated it from darkness. He called the light Day, and the darkness Night. On the second day God created an expanse between the waters so that there was water above and water below the expanse. God called the expanse Sky. On the third day God created dry land and plants and trees. On the forth day God made the sun, moon, stars, and planets. On the fifth day God created water animals and birds. On the sixth day God created animals. He also created man and woman and gave them power over the animals of the water, sky, and land (Genesis). Before long the people began to become violent and wicked, so God told Noah, the only righteous person, that there would be a flood to destroy all evil people (and the earth) and only him, his family, and two of every kind of animal would survive. When the flood ended, the landscape of the earth had changed.
There are many opposing arguments to creationism. The Evolution theory and the Big Bang theory hold many of these arguments. Evolution is an anti-creationism theory that says that all living things evolved from a single celled organizm. It is very often taught in public schools, which gives it a factual reputation. One of the main arguments is about how old is the earth. Radio-carbon dating 14 is a system the estimates the age of organic material by looking at the amount of radioactive decay. This system is very accurate, but there is no evidence that the radioactive decay rate today is the same as 1,000,000 years ago. The Big Bang theory states that all matter was in one very compact space for trillions of years. Then it randomly exploded, and the universe was dust and molten lava. For billions of years the dust and lava gathered into planets.
There are several facts dealing with geography that the Big Bang theory and other theories like it cannot prove. one fact is there are very few meteorites in the earth’s strata. Strata are layers of rock laid down over time. This is where dinosaur fossils are found. Thousands of outerspace meteors the size of a pebble to the size of boulders enter the earth’s atmosphere every day. If this has been going on for millions of years there will not be many meteorites in the earth’s strata (Brown). Simple things like this fact have been overlooked by great theories, and simple things like this can destroy great theories. Even Darwin said, “If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down.” (Peterson).
But why does this have any thing to do with the Big Bang theory one might ask. The answer is that this means the earth is young. The Big Bang theory says the earth formed and cooled slowly and it took a long time for it to complete its shape today so there would be meteorites found in the earth’s strata. Unfortunately that is not true. The moon is receding from the earth very slowly. If one rewinds time enough the moon is scraping the earth’s surface. The Big Bang says that the moon was part of the earth and was put into orbit when the earth was still molten. However the angle of the moon’s orbit does not match the angle of the earth’s rotation. in addition the sun is shrinking by five feet per hour. If one goes back a billion years in time, the planets in our solar system would be rapidly sucked into the sun by its emense gravitational pull.
The bible has a lot to do with creationism. In Genesis it says that God made the world and not a random explosion. There are a lot of verses that talk about creation not in Genesis: Exodus 20:11and 31:17, Job 38:4-12, Psalm 104:5, John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:16-17, and Hebrews 1:2. Jesus talks about creation in Mark 10:6 “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female”. This means that man wasn’t made a billion years after the world was made. In Genesis it says that God made us in his image. This puts humans above all animals and also gives us the ability to reason. This also means that God wants us to worship him and have a relationship with him. If God wanted this to occur He wouldn’t wait a billion years for us to evolve.
The Hydroplate theory is a creationism theory that agrees with the bible and geography. The Hydroplate theory has three phases. It starts with God making the earth. Before any of the phases, the world was semi-connected continents. About 30 miles under the continents was a large layer of subterranean water, its pressure is rapidly increasing. At this time, Noah was standing on his ark.
The first phase is the rapture phase. The water breaks through a small crack, which quickly expands to encircle the entire the earth intersecting itself in the Indian Ocean. As water bursts miles into the sky, the pressure directly under the rapture instantly dropped to almost atmospheric pressure. The earth 30 miles below the earth’s surface quickly started to erode. Eroded particles were instantly shot up into the air. When the particles fell, they quickly buried animals and plants. Because of the pressure decrease in the water, it almost instantly froze these plants and animals, fossilizing them. However some were carried away by the water (Brown).
The second phase is the flood phase. When this phase started, the pressure increased in the giant trench and the temperature of the water rose to near 100F0 . The hot water rose to the top because it was less dense than the cold water. The gases in the pressurized hot water escaped. The carbon dioxide in the water combined with the calcium in the eroded basalt particles, creating huge sheets of limestone. The animals and plants that were not frozen and fossilized were carried away to places like Antarktica (Brown).
The continents started to slide frictionless over the escaping water ending the flood phase and beginning the continental drift phase. The giant trench was now completely eroded, forming the continental slopes. The underlying basalt began to rise, forming the mid-oceanic ridge and pushing the continents downward. When the subterranean water escaped, the continents slowed considerably because of friction. There was a crushing force that caused the continents to compress and fold up and down. The water went down as the continents got taller. The compressing force caused deep trenches and mountain ranges parallel to where they were pushed from. The leftover subterranean water filled the cracks that the crushed granite made. The friction caused by the sliding plates created magma chambers. When the plates settled, Noah came out of his ark with his family, and animals repopulated the earth (Brown).
Therefore Creationism is a valid explanation for how people and the earth were created. Geographical evidence suggests that God created the earth. The bible also states how man and the earth were created. The Hydroplate theory supports both geographical evidence and biblical evidence. The assumptions in the Hydroplate theory are very little compared to the Evolution and Big Bang theories. The assumptions follow along with the bible. The after effects in the Hydroplate theory suggest very much why the earth looks the way it does. No theory can be proven historically or scientifically. No one eye-witnessed the creation except its Creator. The only way is to ask the Creator when one gets to see Him in Heaven.
I support both evolution and creationism. I don't believe that the two are mutually exclusive... but then, I don't believe in the Bible either. The story of Adam and Eve is simply "evidence" supporting the "morality" and worthwhileness of patriarchy.
no one can say that we were created in one day but evolved over a million years

If schoolkids in the US are being brought up told that Evolution is only a theory with no factual evidence,

Because the hundreds of years studying our history, digging up fossils, and filling the NATUAL HISTORY museum doesn't have anything to do with evolution. Its all just clay and plaster that we made to fool the everyday man. stare .

You lost my point... I'm on your side, I want evolution in the classrooms as well. But I was saying that if they're being 'told that.' Not what I think about the matter. I know there's evidence supporting evolution, but you get these rather single minded types who like to dispute all the evidence, I'm not one of those people. Get it right. stare

I want all teaching of Religion in school to be told under the nifty little disclaimed that this all theology and with no factual evidence.

Unless you plan to teach ALL religions and have it as a "World Religions" course, where you study the history and differences of each religion, I don't want religion in my schools.

That's how 'Religious Studies' is done over here. That's how I was taught it.

How about some reputable sources? AiG is well known for their blatant falsehoods, and the rest is crap that goes through no peer review process.

Perhaps you should learn what constitutes a good source in science.
lol your funny

i think you should show me some of MY falsehoods not thiers
