An animal is still an animal regardless of the fact that our species came from a line of animals ever since the Cambrian period.

That is another theme.

Bacteria are in a bigger domain than kingdom in biological classification. Animals are in the Animal kingdom.

True.

So to ask why they are still bacteria is a stupid statement. They can end up as a different species easily.

I'm not asking why they are still bacteria. I'm saying they are still bacteria not matter what

And how does that conclude anything?

People tend to say that because bacteria gain resistance is "evolution in process". While it evolved by gaining resistance to something, it is still a bacteria. That is just my point.
People who don't believe in evolution should just open their eyes to the billion yr old fossils, etc. there's not need to deny them treatment, they'll eventually realize something's wrong with their beliefs.

Antibiotics have nothing to do with evolution,

So, you're saying we wouldn't have antibiotics or antibiotic similarities without evolution? That's funny, because I thought that the Chinese were using medicine over 2500 years ago. Huh, wikipedia concurs.

That doesn't mean TO is wrong, but considering how advanced bacteria has evolved, learning how to counteract that evolution is key.
If bacteria evolved, the natural herbs would have evolved in a way to counter-act that evolution. We just jumped to antibiotic pills, and as a result, bacteria jumped to live. Bacteria evolves because we push it to the point where it has to evolve.

By that logic, penicillin would work the same way. Unless the bacteria is harming the plant, it won't really matter.

No, it just changes its' characteristics.

No, it just changes its' characteristics.

One strand evolves while another evolves differently. That's speciation, that's changing into a new species.

If it is harming the plant, then odds are that sexual selection of the plant keeps it alive.
This thread was painful to read.

The first page sums it up though.
Cause treating people different based on their beliefs doesn't go against the foundation of this country.

To have a belief is one thing. To be a hypocrite about it is another.

My religion promotes the idea of evolution. So I see no problem here. Aside from the children. It's not their fault if mommy is delusional.
