Modern Day Gypsy?

So i think was supposed to post this here.

So, the other day I was talking to my supervisor, and he said that one of my managers had encountered a family of gypsy's at work apparently.

He told a story of how a family came into our theater, and how a woman flushed the toilets so much in the bathroom to the point of overflow, and then how she rolled in the water, then came and made an accusation of her slipping, and how she wanted to sue ( along with the man who was with her and the family). A customer tells our manager that the say the woman rolling in water though, which proved that she didn't slip. That's what my manager had told the family and they threatened to sue our theater for discrimination.

I encountered gypsies when I was visiting France. If they don't try to sucker you into giving them money, they will distract you so that their children can steal your stuff.

yeah, I've never heard of gypsies in north america. I've heard it used to describe people that live in eastern-central europe...Not trying to offend anyone, but I believe Romanians where called gypsies in the past.
I've never run into anyone that called themselves gypsies. I have run into some huckster types that would try to cheat you or steal from you, but they we're of all diffrent ethnic types.

When i type in "gypsy" on google, they all look similar in dress, so i figured it was a type of person?

My dad used to get "irish travelers" at his work all the time. But they are colloquially called gypsies, too, because they swindle people out of their money and steal all the time. My dad worked at a convenience store and had to stop the gypsies from stealing candy all the time.

first off, gypsy is a derogatory term, second why single them out? are you going to pinpoint the ethnic group of every a*****e that tries to rip you off? they have every ******** right to be in the us as you do, and ******** you whoever said there aren't any good ones. you don't know them all. you can't say they are all bad. racists.
