Oh my, I also had no idea they were making a reboot! I think I have to watch the last two seasons it's all a blur to me since the last time I watched the show. Sad to hear Matthew isn't returning because that would be the only reason I would pick up the new series. Maybe he can return to direct some of the episodes instead of airing in them like how he did before question

I'd love to see that too, honestly. He did such a great job on the episodes he directed.

Nothing new as of late, but two things of note.

Joe [David] has said that with the cursing allowed on the series, his character would be a bit flustered over this.

Also, it appears we're getting a homage to Matt Simmons as well, with his desk alongside Spencer's being shown. From an interview I've skimmed somewhere, this is a way of showing how the pandemic has affected the team, on how things were left behind when everyone left.
