Me too! That show was like my life. I realllyyyyyyyyyy don't want to wait till 2016 to watch another episode though. Even though they said they might do a mini episode inbetween I still am kinda sad sad

You can totally get by without watching the classic whos. In fact I suggest you only start watching it once you understand what's going on in the reboot series; you appreciate it a lot more as they are terribly poor quality. If you don't want to start from season 1 of the reboot with "Rose", I suggest starting at season 5 where Matt Smith comes in. However, please do not skip season 1. Don't skip nine.

If you want to start with the older Doctor Who you can start it on Hulu if you have it, it's usually called Classic Doctor Who.

But if you want to start what people usually call "New Who" you can start on Doctor Who that started in 2005 on netflix, or hulu I haven't checked to see if it was there.
