It's a lovely day out Gaians, and if we had a weather segment I'm sure it would be full of interested and highly varied reports, as the residents of Gaia live near, far, and in all the in-betweens. Somehow, it's still so beautiful! I think we can all agree that it's a gorgeous place. That's why our latest segment focuses on good ol' Gaia and the folks who make it great.
Let's start off by congratulating our fantastic new Avatar Arena winners!
For an amazing Original Avatar, the winner was lR lE lD with the chillingly elegant entry entitled IvsF: Sedusa!
For a remarkable Cosplay Avatar, Il Sakura Il took home first prize for a great entry she called Sailor Mercury - Sailor Moon!

And now, in an abrupt change of events, I have a special guest here to share with us the secret of passion and success in the Gaian Community! Please welcome sup-qt! Some of you may recognize this stylish celeb as the mastermind behind the Project Winners List! It's an ongoing and frequently updated thread that keeps tabs on all the latest Ticket winners and what they're doing with them, whether it's recoloring that rare favorite, or crafting an entirely original bestseller.
Good to have you here, sup-qt! So let's get down to brass tacks. Who are you, in terms of Gaia? You can keep this as simple as you like, or tell me your whole life story. Either way, it's gonna be a hit!
In Gaia, I would call myself a lurker. Most definitely, however even though I'm a lurker I'm still very active! I love reading through threads in the GCD seeing the latest updates Gaia has given us, or giving thoughts in Site Feedback on small things that I think would make Gaia even better. And I'm in love with the Art Freebies Forum haha.
Just how serious are you and the Art Freebies Forum? Is there a celebrity relationship on the rise? That's a scoop I'd love to get! So about Project Winners List, what made you want to start tracking the winners of those elusive Tickets? Why do you think the thread has received so much support and acclaim from the community?
Well I don't want to give anything away, but I've been seeing the Art Freebies Forum for a couple of years now. whee It's very exciting.
When we first had the Golden Ticket Released on Gaia, there was a flurry of excitement about these crazy items that would mean that we, the users, could create our OWN items!! There were so many threads with ideas about what people wanted to do if they go one and then people starting actually winning the tickets and it went from a crazy dream to a reality. I was so excited and I really wanted to keep up to date with who had won and who made what!
I hadn't seen a thread made yet so I tentatively made my first thread in the GCD, and was greeted by others who were wondering who won and what was being made.
As the thread is detailing who has what ticket, ideas that they plan to use them on, the released items themselves, theres a lot for people to be interested in. At the start I got a lot of support because people were just so excited about these Golden tickets that meant we could create an item! Now, with thanks to the people who frequent the thread, we've got a warm and inviting place that people can share their ideas and thoughts.
That's fantastic! If you had your own Ticket, which would you want and what would you make with it, sup-qt?
I would really love an Emerald ticket, I'm a huge fan of Moira's and would love the chance to work with her! (She's just so fantastic!)
Great! Finally, what would you say to anyone interested in Project Winners List, and is there anything you'd like to say to the people who've helped make your project a major hit?
I would love to invite anyone and everyone to check the thread out! Its great to see people come by, talking happily about the items they plan to make or wish could exist! It's fantastic to see so many people helping others with advice, donations or even art too! (Come visit! We're friendly!!) And I would love to thank everyone who has ever helped with the thread, I always appreciate the extra hand, from linking new items, giving a heads up about new tickets to old ones being sold. Shout out to Razumi Yazura, II Talent II ,Sifen Yamishi, Zero Dream, Kid Jak, Vannequin, Slick Southpaw, Ronin~Wing and so many more amazing people who've helped along the way and been fantastic people to hang out with. You guys are amazing.
