Kaylee looked at Jason with a puzzled expression on her face.

"How long is what going to last? The questions or the chicken/egg thing?" Kaylee sighed, "I'm confused...as usual."
"The questions. How long do we have to keep doing this?"

Kaylee shrugged, "I guess until we run out of things to ask each other? Speaking of which, are you left or right handed?"

I'll use Sarah again.

"Left," Sarah said in a dull voice, twirling her revolver with her left hand. She seemed more interested in the gun than the conversation. "Here's a fun question: If any of you were in a fight, what kind of weapon would you bring?" She smirked, twirling the revolver contentedly.

Tchalia grinned. Now that was a proper question. Chickens and eggs? Fish had lain eggs millions of years before chickens evolved. Humans were so nonsensical.

"I'd say about 20,000 mounted archers, 15,000 spear men, 10,000 heavy calvary, 30 catapults, 5 battering rams, and however many conscripts I happened to have lying around.

"And for you, what fates have the holy men decreed?"
"Fate? Fate's a bunch of baloney, which I am content to leave to the Bible-thumpers and the ancient Greeks," Jason replied icily. "Speaking of which: Fate or free will?"
I'm going to use Ezzy now.
Name: Zeke Majest
Age: 13, kinda
Appearance: a somewhat strange, very slightly scared looking blond boy. Short and of average build.

"I like chickens." He bit his lip, which he found most painful. Then, to Jason, he called- as he was across the room: "Fate. Then it's not my fault."

"Free will," Kaylee said with a nod, "You can make your own fate. Why sit back and let a bunch of moldy old men feed you their prophecy of how you will save the world?"

"So, what *would* you do if some moldy old guy came up to you and told you that you were suppose to go save the world?"

Name: Iere
Age: 21
Appearance: Blonde hair, light brown eyes, thin build, almost no breasts to speak of. Enjoys wearing dresses in shades of grey, with all manner of adornments in black and white.

"He already has," she said, with an anemic smile, her eyelashes drawing a veil over her eyes, "and what other choice is there but to accept? God dictates, so we must obey."

"But... what does your room look like?"
"Rooms are for idle and indolent city dwellers and will but an illusion of the mind to convince you that you matter and you are not simply a tool of the Arunya to repair the world they shattered."

Tchalia unfurled one of her maps and motioned to an attendent to stoke the fire. "Which should I attack next? Lian Shan or T'ungara?"

"Depends," Jason replied. "Which one would be more to your advantage?"

Tchalia regarded Iere for a moment, then sent one of her servants to fetch a goat. She knicked its throat and gathered the blood in a small cup--not enough to kill the goat, but enough for a drink.

"Here," she said. "You look like you need this."

"But... what does your room look like?"

"My apartment, you mean?" Sarah turned to the woman with a mild look that seemed to say that the question was inappropriate. "It's an apartment. Nothing much to talk about. Bed, folding chairs, beanbags, piece-of-s**t appliances. Books and magazines lying all over the place. I don't even get to see it too often, now that I'm out blowing the brains out of zombies and whatnot." She wished dearly for cigarettes, and again started playing with her revolver.

Sarah counted the amount of money left in her wallet. As soon as this conversation was over...

"Speaking of which, what would you guys do in a zombie outbreak?"

I will start using my other character now.

Name: Ruth
Age: Immortal ghost
looks: Blueish silver, translucent

Ruth raised an eyebrow, "Zombies? Don't bother me with talk of zombies, I have much to do and cannot spend my time conversing on the topic of zombies. I am very busy trying to fix all the idiotic mistakes that my grandson made. So if you will excuse me, I must be off. Besides zombies are worthless creatures that are more trouble than they are worth. blow them up and be done with it!"
"Zombies are funny. I rapped about them once," Zeke said, nonchalant. "So I'd probably just stand there, actually. Maybe run about screaming for a bit."

His shoulders went up in an offhand shrug.
Kaylee took a sip of her coffee and settled down in her chair, "So what do you hate most about people?"
"Not about people in general, but the really OMGLYKBENICE ones," Zeke replied, speaking a mile a minute, "and the ones with the OMGMORTALSTEHSUCK."

He grinned pointedly and nodded.

Name: Tim
Age:15
Appearance: Brown hair under a green beret, mismatched armwarmers (one black, one white), gray eyes

Tim snorted. "Their absolute stupidity. Superficiality--they reek of it. I can't stand people like that." His dark eyes glittered as he crossed his arms defiantly, as if waiting for someone to counter him.
Laverne Terres

Name: Jonandra
Age: approximately 150
Appearance: Usually dressed in blues or greys while traveling, Jonandra will sometimes dress in oranges, reds, and yellows in honor of the Elven god Lathander for special occasions. Her hair is silvery blue, eyes crystal to sky blue, very pale skin, and ears are medium sized with delicately upswept elven points. Her lips usually looked pursed, and are a lovely shade of dark cherry pink, and a light blush usually graces her cheeks.

Jonandra stares for a moment at Zeke, mouth slightly agape.
She closes her mouth and looks away, sighing and muttering to herself, "I really must learn the local dialects."

Searching around the area for some help, she spies someone listening in, "Would you care to translate that for me?"
She carefully tones her voice politely and waits with wide, expectant eyes for an answer.
