The Moonlight sonata is my favorite piece by him. It has quite a unique feel to it, and I love listening to it. Also love playing it. It's actually not that difficult after some practice, and whether I'm sad or angry or nervous, playing that sonata just makes me feel right again. Like I'm pouring everything into the piano.
I still think most of his sonatas are amazing, if you want to check them out. Find a playlist on youtube and have it play while you do homework or something. That way you can listen to all of them and pick your favorites.
smile For a specific one, I'd recommend the
Pathétique It's longer, so the rhythm and feeling changes sometimes, as well as generally being more upbeat, but it's still very beautiful and powerful.
