zOMG Elite Battle Clan Introduction

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the zOMG Elite clan, we are officially one of the best zOMG battle clans on all of Gaia. Membership is pretty exclusive so if you are accepted or invited congratulations for making. We are a clan which focuses on zOMG battles, creations of battle teams and a member hang out to chat and socialize. We are the elite and promote a friendly no harassment environment, we are also very strict with a no donation/begging policy to ensure all of our members have a good user experience.

This thread will explain the rules of the guild & our aims and objectives. We are already the best for our organisation, professionalism, tutorials and our members, we aim to create organised battle teams and conquer the zOMG world and have fun as a guild. We have two set's of teams one which is the elite ZEL (zOMG Elite Legion) this requires members to enlist when inside the guild, the ZEL team requires a uniform and other criteria to be met and thus is ranked. No further information will be revealed within this public thread.

The other team type is the Independent team, this team is unranked and does not require a uniform code. Members can be on two teams one is ZEL and the Independent team. ZEL teams will only wear the uniform on occasion for a short duration like a week or so.

The zOMG Elite and the Millionaires clan make an alliance. The Millionaires clan is a small, organized and professional group of Gaians from 03, 04 or at least ones who can reach 1mill+ in gold or avatar value to join their exclusive battle clan. The Millionaires guild are well established with a guild prior to the launch of clans.

zOMG Elite make an alliance with the their first guild. An affiliation with "Why Not" Gaia's biggest and number one ranking guild. This is great news because we are expanding our network of allies in sharing information etc.

The ZEA Network is now allowing all of our allies to own their own Embassy sub forum inside the ZEA Guild. This is to encourage multi clan communication, events, sharing information, trading items or even mercenaries services.

This was truly a special day as we reached 2000 members and further more announced our official guild battle spirits (mascots) we are the first to guild to make a mascot and spent a long time with research and development to make an aesthetic, mythical and overall unique avatar which would catch peoples attention.

Zelestia is the Herme's Moon rabbit of prosperity and luck whilst Euphie is the fairy or fortune and handles donations like the guilds treasurer.

We are continuing to improve and rise to glory even though we have reached the top this does not mean we're getting lazy. Watch this space as more exciting stuff is coming soon.

We have officially reached the guild rank 1 and are listed on the top of the battle clan listings, excluding the Qixters Beta Focus Group which is for testing purposes and not public membership. This is simply great news and I would like to thank all of our members for making the zOMG Elite such a great and active community.

This is shocking! I mean I know we are the best but I figured it would take a long time to climb the top five battle guilds however in as little as four days we grew so quickly that we jumped up to the third position, but technically were in the second position as the top guild is Qixters beta focus group!

I would like to thank everyone, we at the crew promise to continue to make the zOMG Elite the best hang out and the most organised battle guild of all.

we are one of the most active guilds, we are a friendly community with interesting discussions and we just keep expanding. Thanks to all of our members, also it was brought to my attention that the name elite was perceived by some members as being elitist in my response to this we refer to being elite as more experienced, organised and we aim to have well organised teams for zOMG battles.

I can confirm that we do maintain a zero tolerance policy on begging for items as it's a form of harassment and due to this policy we filter out some members if they do not meet our criteria. This does not make us elitist, we are simply trying to keep our community happy and harassment free.

More fantastic news we have now exceeded 600+ members and are officially in the top ten guilds listed on the front page of battle guilds search. If you now search for zOMG or Elite we are listed first!

Since the zOMG Elite community is so active I have created various sub forums from Role playing, Art Arenas or even contests I don't want to publicly announce all of the guilds details but lets just say there are 13 sub forums and 46k in the guild bank for any extra should we have a demand. I required addition crew members to join, we have a good all round community to cover most timezones.

I have some really great news to announce. we have just reached 300 members and exceeded it by now, we are currently listed as the 25th guild out of all of the other battle guilds, considering how quickly we moved up is amazing but be sure that we are actually the most active battle guild out of our rivals xd

If someone searches zOMG were the top guild on the list and if someone searches Elite were the 6th on the list but first if it's filtered for battle guilds.

Basically were doing so we'll this is the only appropriate word to describe it...

Guild problems
Hi everyone, There are currently some serious issues with all Gaia guilds. I have reported this issues to Gaia on the feedback forums. The thread can be found HERE if you wish to report addition issues I will update it.

GIM
Gaia Instant Messenger is imminent, and might even be out by next week, if some third parties come through. The team on GIM has done an amazing job -- an entire messaging client with a beautiful interface, done in Javascript so we don't leave out anyone. It'll be an interesting experiment; I like the idea of being instantly available to anyone on the site, but we'll see how it works out in practice.

In terms of scalability, we'll be anxious to see how the guild chat goes -- you'll be able to send a message to your entire guild, and they'll be able to respond to you in real time. This is great from a community aspect, and it helps promote guilds, but it'll be interesting to see if we can handle the messages in a timely fashion. In preparation for this we're going to spawn off hundreds of worker processes to route guild messages and make sure that they get to the guild members.

GIM is why guilds were temporarily broken, actually. We've pushed out the GIM code base to the site over the past two weeks, and in the course of this we added a new caching layer to the guild member list retrieval. A bug in the caching layer caused the functionality for controlling the member list for a short while.

Affiliated Guilds

This is the list of our affiliated guilds. There is not set criteria on becoming a affiliate with the zOMG Elite but we will only accept guilds which we consider respectable and which we approve of and recommend to our members, friends and the Gaia community. We reserve the right to reject any affiliation request without having to justify our reason but in most cases we will give an explanation.

Description: TVG is one of the greatest place on Gaia, their an active community of vendors who use the market place to buy low, sell high and accumulate profit I have seen new members make their first million in TVG within a week! aside from getting wealthy you meet great people and participate in various interesting discussions so be sure to join it!.


02. Why Not (Gaia's number one ranking guild)

Description: Why Not is a incredibly big guild with over 60k users, 100 sub forums and a lot of content to read through and post.


03. The Official L.A.N.D.S.H.A.R.K Hunting Guild

Description: This is a fun guild which sole goal is the great hunt of the Landshark. Most members of this guild are CL10 gamers and unit from various guild for the great hunt, if you fancy some Landshark what are you waiting for join them?

Rules

Please read all of the rules, we are lenient and forgiving but if you persist to break the rules more than three times in one month your membership will be revoked and temporarily banned for two weeks.

If you see a (Zero tolerance policy) next to a rule these are the rules which we are very strict about, this may result in a instant ban with no warning and your membership will be revoked permanently!, ensure you do not break those.

1. Follow the Gaiaonline TOS (Terms Of Service)
   
   
2. NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement)
   By joining the zOMG Elite you agree not to discuss the content within this clan outside in public forums, other guilds, clans or other variables. This is from thread topics, messages or even the intellectual property such as the teams system or uniform/rankings.
   
   Breaching these will be considered as harassment, imitations maybe perceived as plagiarism and may result in a ban from the clan. It would certainly be reported for harassment to Gaia or an Omni mod if they were copied by another battle clan.
   
   
3. No Botting (Zero Tolerance Policy)
   If you are caught using a bot in zOMG this will result in an instant ban permanently! and you will be reported by a member of the crew to a Gaia Omni Mod or via the appropriate report system.
   
   
4. No harassment (Zero Tolerance policy)
   No Begging for items or donations. If you want freebies or donations check the Charity Quest sub forum
   
   
5. Treat your fellow clan members with respect
   
   
6. Rules change policy
   We reserve the right to update, amend or change the rules without notice. The threads date will be displayed for the last changed notification.

zOMG Elite - FAQ

Q: Why the 20k requirement
A: We enforce a zero tolerance policy on beggars most users who earn 20k won't harass members with donation requests. We also use this to filter out people who don't play the game since making 20k is easy crafting items in zOMG the other reasoning it's a set challenge to see if a user is able to earn the right to join our battle clan as in some games users need to achieve a certain level this is our pre-set criteria.


Q: Do you need to wear the ZEL uniform always?
A: No this is worn on special occasions and by ZEL enlisted members only.


Q: Why was I invited?
A: If you are lucky enough to be invited it means someone has scouted you and evaluated you as a good candidate to join the zOMG Elite. The zOMG Elite is a battle clan focused on zOMG the MMORPG but we are also a community which goes beyond the game into active discussions so consider joining our fun & friendly community.
