Literacy is expected in all in-character posts. If you have trouble with spelling, consider switching to a browser that will check your text input for you automatically, or typing your posts in a word processor. Try to write not only correctly, but well. As long as you're willing to improve, you're welcome.

No god-moding. Keep the auto-hitting to a minimum, even with significant differences between the power of your characters. Remember to let your opponent land some hits, don't be afraid to employ a rough dice-based system to add a dose of realistic chance to your fight scenes.

No unnecessary bumping.

No whining. Dammit. If you're feeling sorry for yourself, I'm sure your local homeless shelter or soup kitchen would welcome your time, and give you a lot of perspective in return. Complaining is acceptable, but keep it in line.

Have a thick skin and control your temper. Trolling doesn't deserve a response, and please don't validate anyone's idiocy by letting it get you riled up. Try to politely help, or take it in stride.

The year is 2020, and sin is everywhere. The very vices themselves wreak havoc on modern society, just as they have for millennia, but are they gaining the upper hand? These ancient creatures are anything but dated, and work their avant-garde magic with the excitement of a victory soon to come.


The Manor itself was originally built centuries ago. Before it was a Manor, it was a castle, before then an abbey, before then a house of midwives, before then a temple, and before then a broad circle of huge, non-native piled rock. Today, the large, centuries-old structure of a stone septagram has been built up and out to give the exterior the appearance of a half circle keep accompanied by a few tower-like additions. The interior is still primarily a seven pointed star, with the deficit between the outer wall and inner structure supplemented by court yards, often private indulgences of the Sins. Watch your step.

The basement club, called Redemption, is likely why you're here. It's a hotspot for ne'er-do-wells far and wide, with a thick lacquer of black magic and, of course, sin. The basement is circular, with ceilings of a surprising 20'. Half the wall is lined with some sort of lounge decor, blocked from the expansive dancefloor by an olde-pub-style bar-- though the rest of the motif leans toward industrial modern. Don't bother trying to sneak your way onto the other floors, both the lift and the spiral stair case (which are both embedded in the basement walls), as well as the exterior doors to the upper Manor are well-enforced with ancient wards, and physical barriers of the highest caliber money can buy. Not to mention, some of them can give quite a shock.


Upon entering the club, you'll receive a metallic wrist band with a unique ID number. VIP bands are a reusable metal and leather, the common bracelets appear paper with a carbon inset and plastic coating. This is your key to everything in the club.
There are complimentary (locking, soundproofed) private rooms along the back wall-- these are primarily meeting rooms, but most have some very comfortable murphy beds available, if you'd like to stay a while. Keep in mind your wristband is only good for 16 hours.


The grounds are well-kept, if a bit sparse. The Manor backs up to a sharp cliff, and is fronted by a slim hardwood forest that blocks it from immediate view of the highway. It's about 20 miles from the city, and is advertised strictly by word of mouth.

❝ how to apply ❞

If you want to be a follower of a certain sin, there's no need to really apply for anything, just talk to the Sin you want. If you want to play a Sin or the second in command of a Sin, make sure to hang around the thread for a while, first. Let us get to know you, and your roleplaying. When creating a Sin character profile, keep these in mind:

What are the traditional stories and folklore of your Sin? Please try to ground your character's traits in that of the sin's etymology/mythology, and its associated demon. How does your character create more of their sin in the world? What are your character's weaknesses? The Latin term for your sin will be their title.
