Ooh! I want to strip! And the idea's interesting! I just have one question, though. If they get rid of all of the sponsors and the cash shop, how are they going to keep the site up? They need to pay for the site, and they might use that site as their income as well. If that's the case, then without those, they would have to get jobs. xD Which would mean less updates, though that could be good in a way. So the only problem is if they're using sponsors and the cash shop to maintain the site. If they get rid of it, they'd have to find some other way to keep the site up, involving money. Sure, the MC's are a viable option, but they haven't been that good lately.
And I'm just assuming this, but wouldn't working at Gaia be like working at a regular job? People need to get paid. How can people get paid without money? There are people who make the items for the cash shop, too. What purpose will they have if the Cash Shop's gone?
I'm just curious about all this stuff, so could someone answer me? I'm not trying to be a jerk in any way.
I'm sure their MC's and CS and of course the Fish shop is making them more then enough to manage the site and if it isn't and they are relying on sponsors then that proves that they are doing something wrong if people aren't donating as much as they used to.
We don't want them to completely eliminate the sponsors we just want them to dull it down because some of them, like Skittles, is severely milked and is just annoying those who pay attention to the announcements. The same with the ads, I've had quite a few of them interfere with navigating the site because they overlay everything and I can't see where I'm clicking, thus that is rather annoying as well and I know I'm not the only one with these "hogging ads" so to speak. And some of them happen to not be appropriate for 13 year olds.
