Well then, come on. *he takes the steps up to the (aw dammit. Can't remember the name.) upper deck, and steps into the wheel house.

Well then, come on. *he takes the steps up to the (aw dammit. Can't remember the name.) upper deck, and steps into the wheel house.

*walks into THE SOARING FOX TROT's wheel house after him*

*cracks his neck as he looks at the profusion of levers, knobs, dials and buttons. Dead center is a good old fashioned ships wheel. He continues to whistle softly as he taps one of the dials, and looks over his shoulder.* Looks like she's ready to go, Cap'n. *he turns back to the control board, and starts flipping switches and turning dials. There's a soft crackling noise that gradually grows louder as a wave of orangish blue lightning runs across every surface. It tingles as it passes under your feet.*

Let me get her in the air, and then I'll show you how to fly her. *he turns back to the board, pulls two levers, and the whole ship lurches as the suddenly very lifelike wings begin to pull it into the air. His smile widens into a grin, and he suddenly laughs.* She works!

(actually, I just got why you highlighted her name. I remembered the name of the ship... just not the proper name for that deck. sweatdrop )

*blinks at the hug, then turns to the watch where the ship is actually going, still smiling.* Well, and let's take her up a bit, shall we? *He pulls back slightly on a lever to his left, and the ship starts to rise, leaving the moonlit clearing far below. The soft glow of the fox den's lights quickly fade into the silvery black panorama of forest that spreads below the ship.*

(S'okay. Been meaning to do some research anywho. Heh.)

*walks out of the den just in time to see the great winged ship land*...wow! eek Its finished!! yay! xd and so beautiful! heart *goes up to touch one of the wings which are still out and jumps back in startlement as it moves* eek ........its almost as if its alive! xd *climbs up on a nearby rock and looks toward the deck and yells out* hey!! is anyone aboard?
