Why I am participating in Gaia Nakie Day
When I first came to Gaia, I was lost and I felt out of place. I met many unfriendly people and I thought Gaia was not a nice place to be.
Slowly, I discovered that the trolls, the flamers and the pervs are not the majority of the population.
There are many kind, selfless and helpful people in Gaia. They are the ones who make this experience worthwhile.
That is why I'm taking off all my items for the first time ever. I love items, and dressing up my ava, but what I like even more is having good conversations with people.
I don't care if they just joined or have been here since Gaia appeared.
We are all worthy people, regardless of the items we have biggrin

A new report system has been installed! Now users will be able to report posts and threads that go against the TOS, pornography, harrasment, suicide encouragement and such.
Do not use this system to report threads that need to be moved or relocated, since this is considered and abuse of the system and may result in banning!
Also a new Moderating system will be in place so that we have more Moderators available to assist us.

The holiday Event just started! This year it will be caroling XD
This is how it works:
1) Go to a store.
2) Look for the caroling button at the top corner of the shop. It looks like this:
3) Press it and wait 15/20 mins to continue caroling.
4) After caroling in 5 stores, the last store you visit will give you a
present.
5) There are 3 kinds of presents, depending on the LAST store you visit and they cannot be opened until Xmas.
In Gambino you get - Blue & White Giftbox
In Durem you get - Brown & White Giftbox
In Barton you get- Green & White Giftbox
Maybe each NPC gives a different present, but that remains to be seen.

Maybe some of you have noticed, that in the last couple of weeks more and more cybering threads are being created in The Chatterbox. It is really sad that what once was a diverse and fun forum, is rapidly turning into a pathetic gathering for perverts of all kinds.
Over the last few days I've seen threads of people offering sex for gold, posting pictures of their private body parts (for gold or for sheer stupidity) and multiple people simply having cybersex.
Regardless of what people think of porn and cybering, Gaia is not the place for that. All users agree to a PG-13 conduct when signing-up for the site. This behavior is really outrageous. The cybering threads are driving all the fun, decent people out of The Chatterbox and are becoming a trend that is basically out of control.
We can help make CB a better place.
All I ask of you, is to give us a couple of minutes of your time. Whenever you are bored, or you feel like, check out the first page in the Chatterbox. If you find any threads with people cybering (this include any explicit description of sexual role play), or showing innapropriate pictures, please report it to a purple online Mod.
You will find a list of purple-online Mods, at the end of the "Forums" page. Just send one pm, including the url and title of the cybering thread. You can also include a brief explanation.
It will take 5 minutes and will do much good!

A rollback is when your commercial transactions are reversed. For example, if you bought a donation letter from someone last week, the letter is gone but the money you paid for it returns to your account.
Many people have reported this happenning to them, however only Admins can perform rollbacks on any account and they do it only in very special cases.
So even when it appears like a lot of people are having rollbacks is just some kind of uber weird glitch xp
Important: remember that duplicated items cannot be sold ot traded, and doing so will result in instant banning gonk

Yes, I have decided that on this page I want to display coffee mugs or tea cups belonging to all of our regulars. There are many ways of doing this:
1) you can provide an actual picture of your favorite mug or a mug/cup that you like in general (even if it's not yours) 3nodding

A rollback is when your commercial transactions are reversed. For example, if you bought a donation letter from someone last week, the letter is gone but the money you paid for it returns to your account.
Many people have reported this happenning to them, however only Admins can perform rollbacks on any account and they do it only in very special cases.
So even when it appears like a lot of people are having rollbacks is just some kind of uber weird glitch xp
Important: remember that duplicated items cannot be sold ot traded, and doing so will result in instant banning gonk

A new e-mail scam is going on. Some people are receiving e-mails concerning Gaia Beta. Do not respond to such e-mails, do not link on any link such e-mails provide. Just delete them and spread the word. Remember, never give out your password either to anyone claiming to be Administrator or Moderator, ever. Pass it on.

Yes, I have decided that on this page I want to display coffee mugs or tea cups belonging to all of our regulars. There are many ways of doing this:
1) you can provide an actual picture of your favorite mug or a mug/cup that you like in general (even if it's not yours) 3nodding
2) you can create your own mug/cup if you can work your way around those cute computer graphic art programs... I know can't. gonk
3) if you've got some gold to splurge, you can go to the Mini Shops Forum and buy yourself a gaian-made cup, from some of the shops there.

Apparently a group of silly gaians thought it was funny to start a chain letter, via pm. Chain letters are not allowed in Gaia and could get you banned. If you receive such a pm, inform the sender that he/she is breaking a rule of the TOS and if you want, report him/her to a Mod for further action.
