Well mate, you need to see it with a deeper point of view. Most people on Gaia are 15 or 16 years old, but the ones with more money are the ones over 17. The banning of the items created a black hole in the marketplace, making bids reach millions and making people lose their items. And really mate, if someone starts smoking can you blame a pixelated cigar? Is like banning swrod kind items because they induce vilolence, or gun kind items for the same thing. It's like school mate, you can't blame it for a parent's job. For example, I'm sure you don't smoke, and that's good and cute, and that's because the education you got from your parents made you an individual that knows what's good for yourself. So even if they invite you to smoke, you'll say no. It's the same here. "Having a pixelated cigar doesn't mean I like to smoke, it's just part of my character".
It's all a matter of self control.

So, even if they tried to do something nice to stop inducing smoking, it's bad if they're doing it so roughly. It's like they prohibit internet in your campus to prevent adiction to it.
