Ok folks, I've spent much time in thinking about what to do on any Z-day.
First off, if the outbreak were to occur, my first order of business would be to pile all of my weapons into my dodge ram, along with about 3 weeks of MRE's.
Second, I would gather all of my close friends and relatives, give one in each car a gun, and then head for isolation (yellowstone). There's places in America where a zombie would have to be the luckiest undead thing alive to find us. Once there, I would fortify. Barbed wire scavenged from various fences along the way, wood from the trees, whatever it takes. I would allow no other survivors except those with food and/or guns.
There is enough game in the woods of yellowstone to support hundreds, and with the proper rationing the "colony" could last for several years.
As for pillaging, it would stick to water, food and ammunition. Creature comforts would be useless at a time such as this, sdo to waste time looking for them would only increase the chance of death.
Folks, to be honest, surviving zombie attacks is all about getting away. Getting somewhere where there is nothing to attract them, nothing that they will chase. Places where you can hide well and live comfortably without having to fear going outside.
It's all about preparation.

Great plan. Although what about getting there? How far away do you live from yellowstone? What if the virus, assuming it is a virus or other pathogen gets to the gas stations along the way? What if one car gets lost en route?
