I agree that none of the shops besides the Cash Shop should be strictly Gaia Cash (I'm talkin' to you, Phin Phang), and I also want to add the suggestion that more Gaia Cash should be issued per dollar. If you're going to make the Evolving Items such high prices, then the first step would be to decrease the value of Gaia Cash. That'll bring the Marketplace prices down, too.

Wow well done. Come into a thread offering solutions to problems we have with the site and rant. Well done your a very mature person. Also they get the idea because they happen to have been around for a lot longer than you and have developed an IQ of more then 5 so reserve judgement and post things in a less nooby manner.

While I appreciate the fact that "samarai" and "Ninja king" are both throwing mud at each other, Neither are in right decorum. In truth, Most of us are not at a place where we can judge. How many of us know what it's like to start something and know you can never stop it? How many people have millions of people looking to them for support and activity?

There needs to be change, yes, but getting in the admins faces and telling them they don't care... thats like a child telling thier mother that they don't love them because they weren't born blonde or with straight teeth. Its asinine.

The Admins have been acting pretty childish themselves.
As in, plugging their ears and singing when we try to discuss the problems with the site. So someone has to get up in their faces and call their bluff.

If that even works. *shrug* :/

Oh, I know, belive me. Right now Its so much easier to go with thier plans (otherwise more promises will be forgotten) and try to solve things. Realisticly they can't respond back with "WHY, YOU'RE RIGHT! LETS FIX THAT NOW!" Because they ARE busy, not just sitting on thier asses. They've set a precident now.

I work on an adult-adult mindset. I try to treat others as an equal so they will treat me as an equal, even if they are insulting me. Its practical and its helped me survive in the world. It may be that I'm watching too much of the Presidential debates but responding back to someone's attitude that you dislike with the same, disliked attitude is immature and ineffective.

Once again- I agree with you. They need to fix it. Its not going to be soon though because otherwise the flames will grow higher. But they need to issue somthing soon, like the Gaia equivalent of a press conference. Otherwise we think it falling on deaf ears (Which, many argue, it is).

For the most part I agree with the main post. Though I feel kind of bad because I am in a weird position. Many of the actions that Gaia has taken as of late has taken AWAY fun from the site, as well as just draining it of fun. Even though it keeps getting less fun I still keep giving them money hoping for a turn around because this is one of the few sites that I love.

It is a catch 22. How does the site get better if it can not get funding so that it can pay the people to try and get better. On the flip-side you do not want to give them the money because of feeling hurt and betrayed by their actions. Unfortunately like I am sure most of you have said by all appearances the site is not trying to regain some of its luster and glory. It just seems content to wallow in the mud and suck up as much money as it can while everything goes down the drain.

I really want Gaia to succeed and be so much more then it is right now. It'd be nice if they started making the site itself fun to play again. I however am ranting.

So in conclusion I hope that the powers that be gets the message and start backing off some and bring some balance back.

Yet responding to someone who works in a low-brow mindset with a more intelligent response does not work into their social templates. For example presenting a beautifully constructed arguement detailing the main points of the arguements for atheism to some chav (social class in Britain) all you'd get in return (apart from violence) would be a complete lack of understanding. Therefore working at least vaguely within the template he has displayed is a smart move don't you agree? I know we should all be able to present logical responses but hell how often has that worked for you in the real world?

Er Dawkings is an atheist who has wrote several books disclaiming god with logical and arguementitive proof of the evolutionary theory. Basically an atheist writer.

And this is the issue we are having currently. There is such a wide range on Gaia that communication has been so... babbled. Yes, this is Babel. It has been so confused even within the developers that will anything get done?

(Thanks for telling me, although I fail to see how Evolution disclaims God, an arguement for another time and place.)

And yes, we aren't argueing the points but what ARE the points? Mine are that we aren't going to get a direct response nor have we developed sufficient enough empathy to get our points across to ye almighty devs.

He is a smart man who has approached the arguement from both sides. He was a protestant in his youth. Switched a few times between atheism and religious.
