I've been informing people since 03 that I reported them. It doesn't affect anything. Or at least it hasn't for me. Because I actually report for legit reasons.

And. Then quit if Gaia is dead.

I was permabanned on my 04 account for merely telling someone I had reported them for trolling.

Listen, the only reaseon gaia is charging money is because of the cost it takes to keep the site runnging. Heck! TekTek.org costs about 1000$ a month just to pay for the servers!

Yea. Gaia probly costs what around 100,000? Since they're paying for several servers for games, forums, and other stuff.

I had a friend who was in the IWP guild (unless you frequented the GD at that time you probably have no idea what that is).
They got pissed off because a mod for the GD called Twysted was going overboard. Becoming power-hungry, I suppose. They seized n***s of hers and planned on trolling the GD with them. Now, my friend didn't participate in the guild activities. She was invited and since it was free, she joined. Everybody in the guild, without being researched first, mind you, was permabanned for organized trolling. She fought the ban. She PMed as many mods as she could and tried to explain, and yet she never did get her account back.

Sounds like you're obsessed with the GD, and you've made it your life. By the way, everyone that got banned in Ignorant White People ******** deserved it. That was a terrible guild.

And it sounds like you have something large shoved up something very unpleasant to have you attacking me for no good reason, dear.

My friend didn't post in the guild. She didn't know what the hell went on in it. She just joined because there wasn't an entry fee.

I really thought I explained all that in the first post. I guess you just didn't pay attention.

And I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm obsessed. I post in the GD regularly. The people there and the general attitude of the place appeals to me. I like it there.

But that's beside the point. I do believe you've broken a major rule in this thread. You've gone off topic just to bash me based off, what, my signature?

I guess you didn't bother to pay attention to that, either.

Please correct me if im wrong, but i found this under the games drop down box, then by clicking zOMG. People are saying gaia has trouble paying for itself and such but... here is directly copied and pasted from what can be currently found on the right of your screen if you run your mouse over games then click zOMG:

Each server is 1,000 dollars.

Theres:

Jigsaw:
3 servers

Towns:
ALot of servers

Fishing:
3 servers

Rally:
3 servers

zOMG has one server at the moment (correction I havent been paying attention to zOMG anoucments)

Slots has 3

Word bump has one

Pinball has 3 I beliebe

Electric love I'm not sure. Lets go with 1



18 servers. for just games.
Plus a backup for each.
So thats 9 extra ones

Then the forums lets just say have 5 servers?
Plus 2 backups

34 Servers plus town servers.

Lets just say theres 10 servers? (Not sure if each zipcode is one server each)

$44,000 is the monthly cost for all the servers. And Gaia cash shop items are cheap.




All the above was all made on assumption. I dont know the exact number of servers Gaia has. Could be more. Could be less.

Yea I think each zip code is one server. They did that back in 04 because towns kept crashing from too many people in one area. So they seperated zip codes.

I hope mods don't come here just to chat off topic so they'll be able to move us again. I haven't seen it happening yet, but you never know.

Anyways, I still love your thread but I kinda disagree on the new thing you just said. I thought they kinda listened to us with the Monthly Collectable this month. I thought it's a lot better than what it was for a long time, and the timing of it seemed to be just right with this thread. Well, the other thread. But it could just be pure coincidence - didn't really keep the date count. But I think they listened a little - I hope.

Just like some certain people in this thread and the last have selective reading skills. NK says and has always said it's NOT directed towards the devs, but towards the financial buggers making all the big choices. We KNOW the devs care. I personally respect them and the admins and mods to an extent but I judge on an individual basis. But we KNOW the devs and admins CARE.

You know the devs can't put out anything until the higher-up approves it, and those higher-ups are the ones who have to "listen." I thought they listened this month by pushing the release date back to 15th, therefore gave the artist's some more time to work on the MC's, and maybe even reassigned some projects so the artist could focus to make better MC's. I've always thought the quality of MC's slipping because 1) they're focusing too much on EI's because it brings more money, 2) it's intentional so you can see a significant difference between the "cheaper" MC and the "more expensive" EI and so shell out more money for the latter, or 3) MCs have taken a backseat since it doesn't matter anymore because it's cheaper. All of these decisions come from the higher-ups. So, no, I don't think Gaia has gotten worse, I disagree that they did not listen at all, even though the situation as a whole has not become significantly better, either (I'll say that when they fix inventory and update House).

Oh no, not at all. There was more context to that post if I remember right (Not being an a**, I am very tired) I was pointing at the people who called NK whiny and a troll and told her to leave and told her she was yelling at the admins/devs and such.
