Well, we've got a college age group started at the moment, and after a few months of not being sure what we wanted to do and playing A Question of Scruples, we decided we wanted to learn more about other religions and denominations. We were each supposed to pick one and research it and present it to the class, but I think I might end up with more than my share since I don't have a job and I'm not in school.

We had like Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam up on the board and my friend started one of those comments about all religions basically coming from God and, being the brat I am, had to be all "Nuh-uh! Nuh-uh!" and scribbled Satanism up on the board.

I like pointing out the whole Satanism is NOT devil-worship thing.



So how does this trading thing work? Do I need to offer anything back or something?

It's really simple, all you have to do is enter your password where it asks for it, don't even worry about giving anything back. If you haven't bought a trading pass yet, you should, it's great to trade with people.

Oh wow, that's awesome! I so would have researched Pagan and/or Celtic. Love those religions, they are awesome. Actually, I take a lot of my own beliefs off of some of their views. Like a balance between elements is the main focus of what I believe, but I've got 9 elements, not just the 4 main ones.

Well, I'm going to be doing Wicca/neo-Paganism as well. That though, I feel like I need to take more time on. As much as Satanism says it promotes individuality, etc. it does have some nice central sources to read up on it about. But Wicca/neo-Paganism has a huge range of what falls into it, in my opinion.


Nine elements? Do you mind if I ask what they are?

~laughs~ I kept doing that as well, I couldn't for the life of me remember all the passwords I had used! Now I just use the same one for everything. If I have to change one, I change them all to match it.

~smiles~ Not at all. So, think of this as kind of a circle. First to go down would be the main elements. Fire would be at the top of the circle, and it's counter element at the bottom, water. Next, on the far left would be Earth, it's counter element would be on the far right and that is Wind. After those, you have the Sub elements. If you mix Fire and Wind/Air, you get Lightning where it sits in the middle between the two on the circle, diagonally across from it is it counter element, Nature, which is what you get when mixing Earth and Water. Nature sits in the middle of those two main elements as well. Then, if you mix Fire and Earth, you get Lava, also sitting between the two main elements that make it. Across the circle is Ice, sitting between Water and Wind/Air. Those are the elements that create the circle, and at the center of it is the Spirit element, which is made from Light and Dark. So, you can either consider it 9 elements or 10, if you want to consider Light and Dark as being two separate elements. So, each element sits across from the only element that can really fully cancel it out, and that is the balance.

I used to have just one, but then I got a little paranoid and created a handful more. I tend to keep the same user name associated with the same password though. Except, sometimes I forget how I spell things...


Actually, I've got a video game with the same setup for the main elements and pretty close on the sub elements, so I don't have a problem visualizing it.

Cool! I love my elements, and every person has a specific element to them, it shows in their personality...and that would take forever to go into completely, so I'm just going to stop rambling about my beliefs now.

So, do we know what questions we have floating around? I think it might be nice to Kaos if we can put them all in one place so he has an easier time remembering which ones to answer.

Man, I miss having a working printer.... I'd just print this stuff off and use the copier at church, but printer's broke so I's writing it out by hand.

Oh ouch! Hand cramps much? Can't you save it to an e-mail and send it to yourself, then print it out on a working printer? That would be much better than writing it by hand. I imagine that being really painful and tedious.

Eh, not yet. My biggest concern at the moment is making sure my handwriting is legible. Well, that and how long it takes.

I don't really have access to any computers other than the Library, but that closed early this evening and doesn't open again till like 1 in the afternoon.

o.O;; Your Library doesn't open 'til 1!! That is horrible, I'm so sorry. The one on campus closes at midnight, and opens at 7, and the one back home opens at like 9 and closes at 10 at the earliest....

It's just on Sunday it doesn't open till 1. They open earlier during the week.

I don't really know the schedules by heart, but this time last year, I was at the library almost every weekday because my internet just quit working. I could not handle the withdraw.

~laughs~ Yeller, you are awesome! That's actually the almost exact samething that is happening to me right now! My laptop isn't registering that the DSL cord is connected to it, and I can't seem to get a good WiFi signal. I thought I could just wait until I got it fixed, but the withdrawal was too much. In fact, that's what started all of this. I came down into the dormroom computer lab 'cause my internet was broken and I didn't think I would be able to get onto my favorite fanfic sites 'cause there are age restrictions. So I figured I should check my Gaia account 'cause I hadn't been on in a good long time, and there was Kaos' first PM to me. ^-^ Fate is a wonderful lady, even if it has resulted in my computer not working and my a** getting sore sitting in these chairs.
