NK you have taken the words out of so many users. I know that my friends/family and i have sat around many times talking about how bad gaia has gotten about becoming a site all about cash.

We talk about how great the good old days of gaia use to be and as much as we all wanted a battle system back in the day..we dread it now for what it will most likely be (A game ruled by paypallers and gaia cash users) leaving all others unable to pay real money left in the dust and forgotten.

This is not something that "might" happen... it will! There are many other mmos that ran on the same concept of being FTP but paying for special in-game items with real money and ALL of them games suffer from the same problem. There is no chance in hell for someone who cant pay real money to keep up or be as strong as a paypaller.

Even if you are one that is willing to drop real cash on a game like this... it becomes a (whos the biggest spender) game... so the person willing to spend alittle more will have great leads over the one that spends not as much which becomes not far for even thous who have alittle money to pay.

The battle system will not be about whos the strongest or most skillful... it will be about whos the richest. sad

Absolutely, but there's still SOME hope for us yet. Monsters will drop, albeit rarely, the cash items. That's a good step in the right direction.

We must keep hope! i know my family and friends that come on here have hope that gaia will become as great as it once was again.. I see you and i joined gaia around the same time too almost XD I have 5 other family members that joined around that same time and we have made manya friends and we all feel the same way about the "new gaia" problem but we are all hoping for the best. But action is what we been needing and i hope your action will have well needed effect on the matter... surprised
