I quit back in 2014 and now I'm back and we're using platinum instead of gold, what's considered rich now ? What's rare ?

Platinum is worth far more than gold. As for what's a lot...I have no idea. Some people who are regulars constantly complain they never have even 20K plat, while others have 50mil. I think if you are anywhere in the millions you're definitely considered richer than most

You can actually go into your settings and change back to using gold currency. It goes up by a LOT. Something like 10mil gold to 1 plat if I remember correctly

How would I check that ?

go to your inventory page
at the top right itll say "Total inventory items: " and underneath it itll say "Calculate inventory worth"
click that and wait for it to load.

I assume it's far more valuable to have Plat, considering you need millions/billions in Gold to buy basically anything in the Marketplace. Only ever needed maybe 10,000 for stuff with the Plat currency, it's still expensive but I feel less intimidated by how much Gold I'd need for stuff.

OKAY I checked and apparently im worth 15.8m platinum, that's good ? They started rerunning the classic items like the angelic halo so i have no idea what's actually rare or what was rerun to death for cash

haha well then there ya go. I'd say 15.8m is a solid number. I myself only have about 5 in total. Also, your inventory estimation is usually a bit low from my experience. When I had 3, million plat mythrill coins in my inventory, on top of all of the other crap I had in there, it estimated my inventory worth at 2.4mil plat. So it's likely your items might be worth more than you think

angelic halo is still kept rare same with certain MC items. however others have devalued quite a bit.

the site has re-released a lot of items through lake kindred but we still have a glut of empty listings because of the shrinking population.

That makes sense. I remember having TONS of gold when I left, but now I've got like 7.5k platinum. I remember hearing the inflation got REALLY bad.
