That is a good question and Im not quite sure of the answer, I think its the smell. I also do not like the taste, If some one puts food or water into some plastic containers I can taste it. Do not like that at all. Nalgene Bottles are ok because they do not leave a after taste.
I do not like the feel of polyester clothing,
Plastic hangers suck because they brake, I have wood hangers from the 1930's or 1940's. Its good for the environment repair reuse.

Plastic has its uses and place high quality plastic like in the Montblanc pens is good.
but not one of my favorite things.

Mostly I do not like plastic, Nalgene bottles are all right. There are different kinds of plastic. But If I can I will take a small metal spoon on the plane so I do not have to use a plastic one.

wood hangers can brake but that happens rarely and if you really want to you could fix it.
Yes I have clothing hangers from the 20's and 30's. They have been in the family for a while.

Your clothing has a tag in it and it will tell you what it is made of, where it is made and washing instructions. Allot of clothing today is made of a blend of Cotton and a kind of Polyester. rayon is the stretchy stuff all the leggings or yoga pants are made of.
Almost all thread is polyester.
