Monkies? ...If evolutionists thought we came from those people who sang 'I'm a Believer', I might believe in evolution a bit more.

..Wait. That was the Monkees, wasn't it? DAMN.
JolieMonique
I don't think you understand. God doesn't just have 1 emotion he has tons. He may be jealous or happy. But not jealous in the way we think. Our minds are to small to understand it all. A verse says in Psalm somewhere- God is slow to anger yet abounding in love. Oh i have to go. Just study the Bible.

which part of "I have read the whole thing" did you not understand?
It is not for mortals to know how God did it. If you wanna know, ask Him on judgment day when you stand before Him in the Holy Courts.
look at everything around you,, i think God is the only One who can make these things,, i think that noone else or nothing else has that much knowledge,,
He just did :3
JolieMonique
First off, God doesn't use magic, He does miricales. Our minds can't really understand that. But, if you read the whole Bible, you will find that it has prophecies, yes? Well, some of those prophecies has ALREADY come true. How can people believe that we evolved from... some goop or monkies. It just doesn't make any sence. If we came from monkies, then we would have proof already because then the monkies we have in captivity would turn into a human. It's just not right. In order to understand everything, you really need to read the whole thing to understand. Even go to a church if you're stuck.

ummm if u actually read up on any science, they have proof of us evovling from monkey-like creatures, we are also a growing creature, every generation tends to be a taller one.
before you criticise science please look into it, i have quite a bit. i know a bit about both sides. that is why i asked this question.
plus i have gone to church. and no monkeys in captivity are a different species. our species have evovled quite well, there's has not. some day they may be smarter than us, have you not seen most chimpanzees? oh that also raises another point about your explanation
we did not come from monkeys we came from apes razz there is a difference smile

that has nothing to do with knowledge, like i think ive said before, just because someone else can do it, or just because i know how to do it, does not mean i can!

i know how to fit into a tiny box, you have to dislocate many body parts.
can i do it? ...NO!

is it too much for us to know how he did it? ...or has that just been drilled into christians and other relgious people, so they don't have to explain it?

He just did :3

you too are avoiding the question at hand

im not asking you if u think 'God' did

God is the overall subconscious of all existence.
All is god, and god is all.
If you look at it in this perspective, the creation of
existence is also the creation of god. God did not
create the universe, God IS the universe.
Thats the way I look at it.

How do u believe 'God' created everything?

the best answer i have so far is

Quote:
he is god he just has powers

but my reply to that was, so u believe 'God' uses magic?

~vox~

lol No. Not magic. The point of God is that he is beyond our understanding. He is perfect and all-powerful and, although we have words to describe those things, in our limited understanding, we cannot fully comprehend these concepts. It's got nothing to do with magic. Magic is a human concept, and God doesn't need magic. God can do anything because he can.

I like that...

sorry this is more a mental note to myself ...i have to write chans explanation, magick is actually a really good way of looking at it smile

and you also said something else someone else did
you simply stated 'God' can do anything, because 'God' is 'God'.
why is it that this one 'God' is free to do as 'God' wants. and you also did not state HOW. which is the original question.
Unfortunatly it seems your asking a question with no answer with decent backing.
Personally i think, if there really is some sort of god then, being all knowing as he is proposed by some to be. He would have gotten the ball rolling with something along the lines of what we would call the Big Bang. And just designed things to work through time in a scientificly(sp?) understandable fashion.
Of course if you have the knowledge of the entire universe, and all its workings in your head your bound to miss one or two details that etiher are left out or slip in unnoticed until its to late. Which would explain the human appendix(sp?), the platypus, and how universally binding duct tape is.

Esentially science has proven, or atleast given firmly backed theories of alot of things, and it stands to reason, atleast in my mind. That if there is a god then instead of it being just coincidence that he planned for us to be able to learn and understand the workings of the universe. What better way to measure your creations advancement through time then to give them a universally large puzzle to solve.

...whats wrong with the platypus? stare LOL im aussie!

thats actually a really good way to explain why we wouldnt have any understanding as to how 'God' may have created the universe.

i like the idea of a universally large puzzle. and then the question which would be oh so obvious to most would be what happens when we solve it?
wait thats not obvious!
do we gain the ability to make universes or does this universe come to an end razz i dunno razz

also that response for some reason made me think of how Peter Griffin says the universe came to be razz

Quote:
God's roommate (according to Peter). After God beat him in armwrestling, Chuggs gave God his lighter and God farted into the flame which, apparently, created the universe

its just funny! sorry if it offends anyone!
