I don't know what everybody else is telling you but I believe that God created everything because it says so in the Bible, not only creating it but he spoke almost everything into existance, i say almost because he didn't speak man into existance. No, he acutally took the time to
MOLD man out of dirt, in his own image, and breath life into him. It's all written very clearlly in the book of Genisis. When you go back and read it here is a few sugestions, no taking it out of context, because you've said that you've read little snipets of it maybe you need to look before and after those little snipets to understand those verses better. Also keep in mind the time periode that the Bible was written in, what was the culture back then? Because it looks like that if you try to put today's culture in the Bible it's not going to make any sense, also if need more help in under standing this ask a local pastor, how can you trust a local pator, I don't know that is up to you, personally give them some hard questions and see what they say. Also try to keep an open mind to what the Bible says,... I know us Christians seeem to be Closed minded buzzers
smile but if you have any further questions about this you can ask a pastor or ask me and I'll try to answer to the best of my ability.
heart *Jesus Rocks*
yeah thats fair, and just to let you know ive read the first chapter thing, i dont remember what its called
razz
i understand he moulded humans into existence, but then how do two single humans create the billions of people there are today?
we actually know now that if two people of the same blood line, reproduce, it creates problems with the offspring it has.
but it states that somewhere in the line, a subjects children reproduces with another child of the subject, therefore we would all have the same bloodline leaving us terribly deformed ...yet we are clearly not all terribly deformed.
also i have gone to a pastor, my 'ex' was the daughter of one. he said the same thing, you have to have faith and just believe 'God' created everything. ive found better answers on here
smile
You are arguing on the basis that God exists. (I mean you are saying IF God created one man and one woman THEN this or this would happenm to try to prove your point) Why is that most all of the non-believers, when they argue this sort of thing, have to argue on the assumption that what they arguing doesn't exist exists?
Okay, just wanted to get that in there.
smile Anyway, IF God exists (which you obviously don't believe, but I do) AND he created Adam and Eve (which you must also not believe and I do) THEN, since He is God: in definition, PERFECT, ALL-KNOWING ect. ect, WHY would or even SHOULD He create faulty humans? What makes you think they had any genetic defects to pass on? They were perfect! And because of that their offspring would have had near perfect bodies as well, so it was no problem for brothers and sisters to have children. That's what the Bible says, but since you don't believe in the Bible, or God or even Adam and Eve, that is completely pointless to you. Just pointing out that if you argue on the assumption that God exist, you kind of have to take into account that He is GOD.
Jesus lives, Jesus saves!
so if they had perfect bodies and perfect genes. why now today, if people of the same bloodline have a child it is deformed.
yet we ARE children of 'God' seemingly perfect according to you, seeings 'God' must have made you and everyone else
if you want to prove me wrong on this. look up incest.
if then you still dont believe me, go have a child to your mother/sister.
im not trying to be sick or demented in the head ...it happens and it can be proven. and the reason this happens is because of what happens when the genes of the mother and father mix.
when they mix, if there are bad genes in one cell they are not used, and the gene/s are taken from the other cell.
if you mix the same blood, there is not better or worse cell, so genes are the same, if there are any problems in the gene (lets go with an extremely terrible thing) ie multiple sclorosis. then the other persons genes will not fix this and they offspring will get MS.
if you reproduce with a different bloodline, you would have less of a chance to get MS because the gene that caused it, wouldnt be used.
also im not argueing the existence, im happy to agree with you right now and say 'GOd' exists, that wasnt my question
