Well it won't start until july, and we're still working on some fine details, but we'll need arena's and what not, and it would be awesome if you could do that, since you wouldn't need to be online at the same time.

We've got a few potential sponsors, so I think we'll be okay in that department. If you do find that you have some free time, feel free to offer your services. :3



So, what do you mean by "need arenas"? What does that imply?

Much like HoH, we'll need fighting arena's for each round. Depending on the amount of people (the general goal is 30+) then I was thinking 5 arena's a round. I'm trying to get a varied amount, so if you felt like you could do that, you wouldn't be the only one writing them up.

It wouldn't be anything fancy, just a short description of the surroundings, etc.

5 arenas per round, for a 30+ person tournament? Does that mean there will be teams, or more than one matchup per round will be done in the same arena?

It's one on one, but each arena will be used more than once during a round.

Would you have it so that only one fight can happen at a time in a thread, thus making a kind of rotation? Or would it be more of a free for all?

1.) When do you need them by?
2.) How creative should they be?
3.) Are there any advantages/disadvantages to be given in any of the arenas? (element-wise, props-wise, extra equipment-wise, etc?)
4.) Any specific sizes in mind?

@JB: There will be a separate thread posted per match (IE Jason vs Matt, George vs Bob) where the arena will be used multiple times. So it won't be thread per arena, to prevent disorganization.

@Rain: I'm hoping to have most of it ready by mid-june to early July. There hasn't been a concrete date, since we're still working on staff and what not, but Mid-June is our goal.
As for arena's, they should be divided according to the Guild Divisions: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Sub-Elemental (Light, Dark, Electricity etc) and Non-Elemental. There should be some arena's that work as an advantage, disadvantage, or neutral. Props are totally encouraged.

Well, when you get staff worked out, let me know how many arenas. Once you figure out the fight order, let me know how you plan on combining classifications and I can go from there.
