So... Eggs are back, but now we can't have images in the forums?!?

It's just temporary. Apparently, some 'hackers' were posting password protected images that brought up the username+password prompt... and some idiots feel for entering their info. So now Gaia has to secure images a little better.

They said they'd try to have it worked out by monday. So, I hope they do.

Ah well. My eggies are not in danger quite yet, though I am trying to pimp them as best I can.

I was curious as I've seen some dead eggs about already. What causes eggs to die besides too many views too quick, killing them, and time expiring?

Luckly none of the dead eggs were mine... So I can't say for certain if the owners killed them or not.

Well, some dead eggs come from an imbalance in clicks and views. If you have more clicks than unique hits or views your egg will become sick and possibly die if it is not fixed. So this gaia thing where you get clicks because of the links but the egg is not actually viewed is bad business.
