Oh I am sorry, damn let me try again. I was addressing you statement of my "if you don't like it, ignore it", and just talking to you on that. I didn't see anywhere the blunt statement of "Gaia is becoming more in more like the real world". Sorry I tend to not read into things, assuming on makes it worse.
Someone only said you had a huge point, I didn't say anything about it, cause I was still trying to get it myself. I am sorry again. I only corrected them on seeing me as mod. Cause I am not a mod, I don't claim to be.
Okay, first and foremost, I'm not going to be harsh or anything-I've just been watching this carefully so I'll drop meh two cents in a calm manner, okay? Hope no one gets offended. First of-Sarah is not some god. She's human as well and that green name doesn't mark her as anything greater or lesser than anyone else. And yes, I do remember you correcting someone on it (I'm sorry if that was me who thought you was a mod, but I think I already understood that you weren't)

I just felt you were missing my point of my post. That everyone chose to have or get the items that are featured in the CS. If they don't like it they can ignore it as well as several other features. But no you took my words and stated that I am blind to your point. Pardon me for being a bit freaking confused here. When your original point I didn't get cause I was trying to make my statement a bit clearer since I know at times I am a bit ambiguous.
Yeah, this is true- you can ignore it. But the CS plays on the human nature of wanting more, more, more. And some people play right into that and just can't help themselves from becoming affronted when they can't get what they want. I've been like that was well a couple of times when I wanted some of the items, but I had no choice but to NOT get them.I think the point was (again, a maybe I'm not sure if I read right) was that the CS is such an "in-your-face" subliminal message that it grates on people's sensibilities and such to the point of ignoring doesn't work. Almost like a taunt from the other side, if you will..?

Gaia is a company and I am sorry they are wanting at least make a profit of a site they have worked so hard for. Just like IMVU, which by the way you can still get along with people even without having to spend dozens of dollars on just to talk.
This thread is in this forum to change some ways gaia is run, yes? Make it efficient and better for all right?
I am sorry if I use gaia as my escape from reality, but is my ******** choice to. Just cause its my choice doesn't mean it applies to all. If Gaia is so much the real world then all that you do here or spend on here is simply your choice. Either good ones or bad ones.
I haven't gone on IMVU so meh, can't say much there. And you're not stuck in those offices like some of the dev's so you don't need to apologize for them...erm, do you? *ish confused*
And hey, I use Gaia to escape reality as well, but aquariums always make me sad because I've had fish that have died and it reminds me of them.

Why should someones avatar matter? Sorry but if your that shallow or deluited into thinking you have to had the best of everything just to talk to people then maybe your reasons for playing on here are different then mine. Sorry if coming on here for a decent conversation tends to cause me to over look a persons avatar. Looks are only outside things, they shouldn't make a difference on how you are on the inside. However they do, and I understand that, but hell you are dealing with a complex creature called a human. Humans make mistakes, I do only a daily basis. Sorry my missing your point but as I said I tend to not read to much into things. It hasn't worked out before so I didn't bother.
Other people got your point why should mine matter. Cause all in all you missed my point as well so I guess its fair.

With the whole avatar's mattering...again, there are people caught in that trap and it's this mental thing. It has nothing to do with you so much as there are people out there that are here to be prettier than they are in real life or who want to be that someone they can't, for good or bad. It's human nature. But neither am I discrediting the person you're responding to-if I remember the long post correctly, it made me rather shocked.
People judge you based on appearance and again, that's something in human nature. And on avi communities, and especially Gaia, that translates weirdly in people's brains. Some people look only to the written words after the fact, so...
*sighs* I know I probably wasn't all that helpful in my two cents but meh *shrugs* I'm not in a very good mood right now...well, I do hope you aren't going to walk of for good or not talk to anyone else, because you're a very interesting person.
