It is overly complicated, and he may think that there would still be some people buying the items with cash but that number would be extremely small. As it is Gaia's not getting enough revenue from the Cash Shop items without making them gold-buyable too --- that's the problem here, that's why they're bombarding us with CS updates and neglecting the stuff we care about.

IMO they need a better sponsoring/advertising deal, but I don't have any ideas on it. No one likes it when things get commercialized, but I think we can all agree that as Gaia grows that becomes a necessary evil, and it's better than the way cash items are set up right now, right? $10 for an EI is absurd. /x

Unfortunately, as said before, they're not allowed to poll us on which sponsors we want to see ads for, because the sponsors who are approaching them don't let them, and the sponsors we do want don't seem to be interested. Otherwise, we might have less ad complaints. But yeah. I for one would prefer less of that MTV crap going around. Seeing it here saddens me since MTV is, in my opinon, the stupidest thing I've ever seen on cable tv. The only thing higher than it on my list of hated things is Biggest Loser, and BI is only because it makes me miss House when my mother wants to watch it. So less of that would make me happier.

I despise MTV too, but I love the MTV shop items... sweatdrop Many of them, anyway, not all of them.

But I highly doubt anyone actually uses those Hills promotion codes. THAT also needs to be revisited, because if Gaia gets paid by the number of people who use it, which is most probable, than they're not making much from it. /x

I'm the same way with EIs. I don't change my avi too terribly often anyway, so I have absolutely no qualms with getting a high gen EI at the cheapest possible price and waiting a few months for it to finish evolving. x]

I'm fne with later generation of items. I'm not picky. If I get a first gen item, then yay, it evolves sooner. If not, then oh well I can wait a bit longer.

And I don't change my avi much anymore either. And when I do, I have an idea already planned out for items I already own, so I don't need to go out and buy the items for my next outfit.

People have petitioned for breedable pets, and the aquarium is their way of giving it to you.
And of course they want more money, everyone wants more money.
But remember, this is a free website, and it always will be. You do not have to buy sealed envelopes or cash cards, you can just play the marketplace.

Actually, I don't think the aquarium fish are breedable. I don't see a breeding option on the fish, and they don't even have genders, from the way they look curently. Unless that's a future update that's being worked on for it.

I mean, you take care of them, feed them, make them happy or sad, things like that.
I think that the aquarium was a terrible idea, but some people wanted things like it. I'm just a bit mad that you need to pay cash for them. Cute as they are, I'm not spending my money on them.

Yes, to show off fish they caught in the fishing game, not the way they made it as it is now.

But since one of the items you get from the aquarium is an EI, it now makes sense as to why. Still don't like where it's currently placed, and wish you could use gold as well to get the items instead of cash only, but.
