I agree specially with your opinion on the aquariums, no Easter event and the many lies about the MMO release date.

The Aquariums announcement said that some items would be available for cash, not ALL of them.

The Easter event, seriously when I heard Lanzer mentioned they were working on something to make up for the 2k7 screw up I felt good. But then it happened, the MMO had to get in the way and our hopes for an event were destroyed plus the many users that said it was cancelled according to a convention.

The MMO, how many release dates so far? I lost track since the first one in 2004. xd There shouldn't be release dates for anything in Gaia, ever. That way no one gets pissed about broken promises, still they would about the lack of information but oh well. xp

Helvetia - That's ridiculous. Did you get in trouble or did nothing happen? I remember someone tried to do that to me too, before towns. They sent me a flower and I said thanks, that was sweet, and they said, "Yeah so can I have your scarf? It's a fair trade!" and when I said no they supposedly reported me for scamming them or something.

And in the worst case scenario, if the staff do somehow discover that they are actually getting screwed by the people, they will simply end up shutting down Gaia forever. The money that was collected over the years will be split up amongst the Admins and CEO, and they will flee with alot of dough. Thus, they will spend the rest of their lives happy. They will retire and die in wealth.

Oh the irony that is Capitalism. Gotta love it. rofl

Smaddy - I agree. It's two weeks? Oh that really sucks. Think about the poor people that go on vacation, or travel, or lose their internet. Only to come back and fine Misses Glitterbutt the goldfish floating upside down. I saw in another thread an AFK setting suggestion. It could turn off your entire aquarium, and you should be unable to access it until you turn it off. That would be excellent.

I agree. No one voted, the admins picked it. I'm inclined to believe they picked it because it sounded, I strongly stress these quotes, "hip and modern". Sure, to ten year olds perhaps.

Basic fish can die in 2 weeks, some last longer, 6 weeks I think? What really will suck if you have an emergency or go on vacation for a length of time is that when your Aquarium dies, you're losing like $10. On pixilated items. neutral

Gaia, I loved you at one point in time but what in the ******** HELL happened? I didn't mind the idea of having fish as pets, you know for GOLD? Or better yet, how about stuff we could catch from fishing? No, you would ******** rather charge real cash for it. Gaia, you sicken me right now and you want to know why? Because you've given me less and less to help defend you but now, you've lost my trust, just about lost my loyalty and lost my money. I refuse to purchase anything with cash including items from the MP but why should you care? You see me as nothing more than a money sign. Gaia, this battle system better be "Kick a** Amazing" or I'm retiring for good.

Also, Gaia, you were a hell of a lot better back in 2004. At least then, you actually cared about us and actually informed us of major glitches but what the hell happened? Now, you wait until thousands of users get unfairly banned before pointing out that there is a glitch. You've lost site of what this place was truely about. For anime nerds to get together, roleplay and just hang out but now, we can't even enjoy a simple conversation without some random user coming in and saying, "ANIME IS 4 NERDZ!!!!" You better get your act together real soon because you're going to lose alot of former loyal users, myself included.
