Happy Gaiaversary to me, it's been 1 year for this account. Doesn't mean much though as it was my 2nd Gaiaversary for my main a couple of weeks back.

The new feature that was due to be out today has apparently been delayed till tomorrow.

Daily Chance was out (and something I knew about before it's release) and disabled again due to all the rare fish and test items that were released. Hopefully it'll be back some point tonight.

Sure was funny as hell to see Gaia explode with love, hatred and panic. Some people loved the Admin. Gaia's fishing quarter hated them (there was a thread in the fishng forum with a lot of people just posting '******** you Admin.') And the panic from the economy being shut down and everyone saying 'ROLLBACK!!!'

I just laughed at it, it was so funny! blaugh

New donation items are out, and I'm disappointed - a pet dragon and an angelic microphone/sound gear. I think they are both ugly, I'm only donating $5 this month because they are so poor, and then I'll probably just sell them.

Saying that though, I could donate the usual and make the most of the inflation! twisted

EDIT: And that is exactly what I did! I wish I'd held out for pure on the lest 2 though, now I have key - I'm sorry I mean G-Blade, a Mochi puppy, a Monarch butterfly and a Demonfly. I don't mind the bugs but a pet and G-Blade! What was I thinking. Also I still have 5 letters left too.

What the ******** is with the poor items lately? I donate to the site to help keep it afloat (in reality, we all like to say that to cover our addiction - when it's unknown to most that Gaia just recently got $8-9 mil from a benefactor report s a certain geek news site) and while the poor items don't bother me TOO much, I'd like to have something decent again.. The past few months I've done nothing but buy letters to sell.

Shame the Admin cleared up the mess so well, I wanted my rare and unreleased flowers! Also it wouldn't have done that much harm if people had been able to keep their rare fish. So it would have pissed off a few fishers' but who cares about them anyway?!? xd

I feel the items have been getting better recently, except this month! I think they are pretty bad even for the Admin. Gwee looks like they just stole it from another site. And the Angelic mic is too bulky.

Of course there will have to be a demonic counter part now! rolleyes Least it can't get any worse.

The funding story is quite old news, and I don't think it really relates to the donation items but more new features like the Battle System, Tattoo System, Daily Chance etc as most of them have come about after that which suggests all that funding is being put into servers etc so they can run these features.

I think that is the only reason as to why they haven't done it before now, because it wasn't financially viable before. If they had funding previously we could have had the BS back in 04 when it was originally planned.

Are you threating to quit Gaia simply because you missed my Gaiaversays' because your internet died, which was totally beyond your contol and you had no alternative to use? I don't want you to quit because of that, you are the reason I'm still here. If you quit, I quit too.

That's the other thing - it wasn't important to me, it was just another day like any other. The days are only important when I have people around me I love. Some anniversary of being on an internet site is meaningless.

You just being back is enough for me, and the only thing I'd like for you to do is try and get msn back and talk to me on it. Making a Guild isn't needed.

EDIT: Nan, I have to get offline for a while so I can have lunch and go out for a bit, I'll be back in a little while. If you come on while I'm away don't do anything (like leave) until we've talked okay? -hugs- speak to you soon hopefully.

I'm sorry that wasn't my intention - I only said it to myself because I wasn't going to do a thread for it. It wasn't meant as a guilt trip.
