I'm sorry, but I really dislike threads like this. /life/ is for discussion, not for flaming. Second, satanism is a completely different religion. Third, most religions, like the Old Religion (and modern witchcraft/wicca/wicce) are not at all like satanism.Try to be literate if you want to talk about things like this, and it's not cool to flame, especially when it's about religion.

Don't get me wrong; I love christians. Devout ones tend to be nice, honest, and helpful; however, as soon as they see a pentacle around my neck, they tell me I am wrong for doing what I do, tell me that I should go rot, and refuse to have anything to do with me. I apologise, but I see Christians to be a bit zealous in the bad way at times.

Not going to lie, I think the idea of Christianity is weak and blind. You do have some good morals, some of which Satanism agrees with (No Murder,rape, thieft).
But because Laveyan Satanist are athiest we dont believe in your god. I have christian friends and we get along pretty well, we dont preach to eachother, only enjoy some simple amusement at pokeing fun at eachothers beliefs. If a christian doesnt preach, tell me I'm going to hell for what I think and do, and doesnt shove the're beliefs down my throut I am quite happy to be around them.
